I did quite some search on Amazon for kids telescope since my 7 year-old all of sudden is super crazy about moon and observing the stars/sky stuff. I saw very mixed reviews of those top rated and Amazon sponsored product. This is a pretty neat telescope for kids. It came with a sizeable backpack and additional gears. It sturdy and looks well designed, would recommend as a great gift/learning aid for kids to explore the sky!

We camp across the country and I wanted a little telescope to take with us. This one is perfect because of the size and it all fits in the backpack. It's a cheap telescope but it's light, easy to use and easy to take and store. You get a decent pic of the moon. Always start off on the lowest magnification and increase from there. ... show more
