Because it is made of plastic fibers- it does get a little static and fuzzy. The sweater fits nicely and is flattering. I didn't like the feel or look of the fabric when it arrived in the airtight packaging. Feels a little polyesters and extremely wrinkled. But after washing and air dry it looks and feels much better. Keeping.
