Oh, this dress? I wore it to Disney World AK in November, which, let me tell you, was basically reliving "Jumanji" in Florida. Humidity so thick you could carve your initials in it. But guess what? This dress was my oasis in a desert of sweat. First of all, sleeves. Not too long, not too short, just "Goldilocks in a magical castle" perfect. Jean jacket on for the "OMG, are there actual pirates?!" moments, jean jacket off for the "Dole Whip brain freeze meltdown" moments. Versatility, baby! Then there's the smocking. Let's just say, if this dress were a Disney villain, it'd be Ursula: sucking in my waist and spitting out confidence like nobody's business. Bonus points for making me feel like I didn't eat all the churros (which...maybe I did). And for your reference, I'm a 5'2", 150 lb, 36D wonder woman rocking this frock. So if you're looking for a dress that can handle Florida humidity, snack-induced guilt, and a questionable amount of Space Mountain spins, this is your new best friend. Just do yourself a favor and add some slip shorts to avoid chafing(real problem in WDW) In conclusion, this dress is the MVP of my Disney trip. It's comfy, cute, and forgiving enough to handle all the "magical" moments (both the good and the slightly embarrassing). So go forth, conquer the parks, and don't forget the sunscreen. P.S. Surprisingly very happy with this dress as I'm always skeptical about buying without seeing and have seen plenty of bad products. It's very soft, comfortable, and flattering. Thickness is great, you can't see through it all even in white. The bust is very stretchy so can accommodate many sizes. Pockets are always a plus, although they're placed a little high. Came very wrinkly but ironed easily. I docked a star because I wish it was a little shorter to hit more at mid shin, and it had a small hole that looked like a burn mark (photo 3), but it was on the back and not noticable, and I didn't have time to exchange it before I needed to wear it for family photos. Absolutely love these, I bought a dress from a boutique shop a year ago that I wear ALL THE TIME and was wanting to find something similar. I finally found these on Amazon and purchased 5 more colors! They are all beautiful colors and fit great. I ordered a small, am 5'9'' and 140 pounds and there is still some room but not too much. They are also very comfortable and can be dressed up or down. I wear these to work with a cardigan but they are also great for a casual day around town. One thing I wasn't happy about was during first wear the dusty pink color got a hole in the pocket. I also was surprised by the dusty pink color being more grapefruity/coral in color. I really wanted to love this dress. The color of dark green was maybe a tad darker than the online pictures look but it was a good color. The sleeves are too short and open in the armpit hole to cover what I need it to. But fine for others. Overall I felt like I need a petite version of the dress. I'm just under 5'3. I wish the neckline was a tad lower and curved so it didn't feel like it was cutting off my wind pipe. I need the top scrunch part to not go down as long as it did and the dress it be a little bit shorter to fit my body better. The length reminded me of high water pants. On me it almost looked like a floor length dress but a little short. But too long to be the midi length. The deal breaker for me and why I returned it was how much the high neckline felt uncomfortable. ... show more
