Have snare drum for home practice. Bought this glockenspiel to expand home practice for my middle school percussionist. Nice sound & quality for the price. Sturdy adjustable stand. Nice carry/storage bag. Drum pad, sticks and mallets are an added bonus but of expected quality. Don’t really get the top insertable stand - if just for mallets could be shorter, if intended for music should angle back and away from the instrument rather than vertical to it.     • Good for beginners but very heavy
This is good so far but the instrument is very heavy especially for an 8 year old to carry. I wish the bag had wheels like many other companies also not sure the bag will last it seems the weight of it is kind of pulling on the thread

    • A decent bell kit for a good price
I'm a music educator and I was surprised at how nice this bell kit was for the low price - I've seen much worse. The bells sounded pleasant and (mostly) in tune and the wood support seemed sturdy. The kit includes a stand and snare practice pad and basic drumsticks and bell mallets. The carrying bag looked to be well made with enough padding to protect the instrument, but the backpack straps are not padded and there is no side carry handle, only one at the top. I ended up returning this because I needed a larger set (32 notes) but I'd recommend this to parents as a fairly decent bell kit for a beginning percussionist. You won't find a kit with this playability for anywhere close to this price at a music store. ... show more

I bought this bell kit for my little one, who needed it for band practice. The teacher suggested some kits that were well outside of my budget, so I opted to buy this kit, and was I pleasantly surprised. These have been used every day since we've got them, and they are holding up very well, still sound great and the stands have been screwed in and out a ton of times, and it still feels like day one. If you're on a budget and need a decent bell kit that won't break the bank, I would definitely recommend this one. ... show more

    • You get what you pay for - Decent bellkit
We purchased this for my son who is starting percussion this year. It arrived almost 10 days after the estimated date shown when ordering. Infact it didnt ship until the estimated date has passed and I had to reachout to the seller. Thought of cancelling and buying in local store, but returns are a hassle with restocking fee as per the policy. (It is not eligible for prime) The bag that the bellkit comes in was snuggy, so it fits all the things - bellkit, practicepad and stand. Its backpack style bag and doesnt have any other handle. So might be a challenge to carry to school everyday. Wish it had another handle or wheels (you get what you pay for).Was hoping he could use it for a few years, but now, I am just hoping it makes it through this school year as the kit is little flimsy when compared to some of the kits his friends has. ... show more
