This is a modern romance novella with some kink aspects, it is the third story in a series that should probably be read in order. Just like the previous books, the world building is great snd really set up this story to shine! I like that the couple explores kink together but always in a safe way with the loviest of after cares! A sexy short read. I’m convinced that I don’t have any kink in me because even after reading this kinky sexy piece (thank you for the demo, Johnny and Cam), I still don’t want to be tied up or suspended from the ceiling. Off to read Adam’s book.

Cam is surprised when sexy lumberjack Johnny starts flirting with him and he's even more intrigued when Johnny offers to do a BDSM ropes photo shoot for Cam to make his ex jealous. This was certainly a unique set up for this quick and enjoyable read and I devoured Lumber Jacked in one sitting. Annabeth Albert is one of my favorite authors and she never lets me down when it comes to character driven romances. I loved both Cam and Johnny as individual characters but especially as a couple and while this ends as more of a HFN (since it only covers a week or so of time), the reader knows these two will make it work. Cam is fun, glamorous, and dedicated to his makeup tutorial videos he posts online. Johnny is the complete opposite as a burly, plaid wearing, lumberjack but these two just fit together perfectly. Johnny and Cam had perfect chemistry and they lit the pages on fire every time they were together. ... show more

Lumber Jack meets makeup artist both are looking for the perfect opposite. Love is strange in what attracts one person to another. This author does it right the two men fill the needs and wants of the other. Great romance well written and well plotted.

I really enjoyed this book immensely. Johnny was so wonderful with Cam, poor Cam with all his doubts. Made me sad for him but in the end Johnny made it all worth it. This book has just the right amount of love & sexy times, wish it a little bit was longer. I would've loved a little more back story about Johnny. Buy this book, you won't be sorry! ... show more

I'd forgotten how much I love this series. Annabeth writes kink so beautifully. This installment felt a little rushed, though, without her usual care in developing the characters. Cam and Johnny are likeable, but the story just moves so quickly to get them together that they lose a little as individuals. It's a good one, but not the best. ... show more
