These thirsty stones do what they say, they absorb the extra condensation from drinking glasses, your glass does not stick to the coaster, and you do not have a water puddle on your table. The cork backing protects your table top from scratches, keeps the stone from touching the table, and it keeps them from sliding around on a smooth surface. I love the neutral color palate that blends in nicely with a variety of decors. This is my third set, I love them so much.
