These Levi's are great for everyday wear and feel sturdy as well as looking nice. Originally I hated jeans and only started to wear them recently as I just had bad experiences with them a while back. These jeans however are great to wear and I find them to be comfortable and warm in the colder months. They are 505's so they do not have stretch and are straight legged. I personally like this style, however due to it being non elastic, if you are a guy sitting down at >45 degree angle, it will ride up and squash your jewels a bit. I'm pretty sure this is normal in jeans and i'n still getting used to them, but just be aware of this if this could be a problem for you. Overall they're a great pair of jeans and I think they will last me for years, I even bought 5 pairs after my initial pair due to a sale. Just be sure to avoid the discontinued black option as the pockets are super tight and if you're sitting or even standing, grabbing things out of the pockets is a legitimate struggle. ... show more

My husband has been wearing Levi's 505 since the 1970's when he was a kid. The fabric has gotten a little thinner over the years, definitely softer (used to take months of washing to get soft), but still the go to standard for jeans.

Bought these to replace a pair I've worn for years. The old jeans faded nicely as you can see. Now to start breaking in the new. The original was made in the Dominican Republic. The new pair in Cambodia. The "V" stitching on the back pockets is deeper on the old pair. The fabric on the new seems slightly thinner. Hope they wear in to be as comfortable as the old pair. ... show more
