I got these to try out barefoot shoes for the first time. I have a bunion on one foot, the the toe is bent inward pretty bad. I’ve been having a horrible time lately finding shoes that don’t irritate it, or that even fit considering it makes my foot quite a bit wider. So I had heard barefoot shoes can possibly correct foot issues caused by regular shoes, and I wanted to try. These are pretty good for the price! Nice and stretchy and adjustable with the laces. Everything is stretchy except the sides, and the back is padded. Has a flat foam pad that easily comes out of you don’t need it. They are currently way wider than my tors are, since my toes point in, but the best thing is, my bunion is ok in them. Only issue so far is the back rubs where the loop is on the heel for pulling them on. Since these aren’t shoes for long walks, though, it should be ok. I’m sure more expensive ones are better, but these are good for trying out barefoot for the first time.

I had been reading about grounding/earthing & had no idea you could purchase grounding shoes. They're super comfortable, have a small arch support & can be worn without socks. I also love that my toes have so much room to spread out & not be squished! I gave them a 4 rating cause my feet do sweat alot in them.

I have what I call "duck feet:" normal width at the heals, but then they get steadily wider to the tips of my short toes. Plus I have a bunion on one foot, which makes that foot even wider. For most of my life I have had to wear shoes that are uncomfortable, because manufacturers didn't make wide shoes, they were too hard to find, or too expensive, or too ugly, or all of the above . Lately, though, I discovered "minimal" shoes, or water shoes, and they've been comfortable for me. And I liked the idea of no or minimal arch support so that my arch muscles stay strong. I wanted to get some Whitins, but couldn't afford them. Then I saw these, which look similar. They are super comfortable for me. Be advised that these don't have a "tongue" per se: they're like a thick sock with a sole. However, you can make them tighter or looser with the laces. Also, be advised, if you've never worn minimal or water shoes, that there's not much padding under your feet: it's like walking barefoot with some protection for your soles. So, if you're standing or walking a lot on hard surfaces, these might not be for you.

These are very nice, good padding, seem well made. Unfortunately for me the heel is too wide so my foot slips when I walk, even though it is snugly tied around my foot. The toe box part is perfect though. Overall, nice shoe, just didn't work for my feet.

I have LLD from hip surgery so I need to wear an attachable lift-ALL DAY. I have only purchased two pair of shoes that are wide enough for me to wear comfortably. These are one of them. My only complaint is that they smelled like chemicals when I first got them. Because of the reasonable price, I will b e ordering more!

Very good shoe but i will say that the back of the shoe is very irritating and will cause blistering if you dont wear at least ankle socks. Also there is no arch support and can become uncomfortable if youre not used to it.

Gradually switched to minimalist shoes and crocs after I realized recommended shoes with lots of cushion were making my feet worse. I typically wear Whitin trail runners (love the all black one) as they are well made and have the loop to help put shoes on. They unfortunately don't have a white/tan/beige in those that doesn't have the odd gum colored sole. After searching, I found these in taupe (really a nice tan color) and thought I would try them. I am a size 8.5/9 and typically wear a 9 in traditional sneakers/athletic shoes. I ordered a 9 in these and thought they might be a little big so I also ordered an 8 to compare. Honestly, I didn't feel much difference on my feet so I am keeping the 8s because they had a slight discount at the time I ordered. I will wear these as minimalist shoes and not barefoot shoes as I do like to have some cushion under my feet. These seem well made and the bottom seems like they will grip well but haven't tried outside yet. My heels do slide out a little but doesn't seem to bother my feet as there is a very nice cushion on the heels to prevent blisters. Socks will probably help. Will update if there are any problems.
