I've never written an Amazon review before because I'm too lazy to offer a helpful review that will aid other people in their decision to purchase an item. How.ever. I used this cream for the first time last night (on my face), woke up this morning, looked in the mirror, took one look at my skin, and decided that I NEEDED to do you all a favor and leave a review. This cream is unbelievably good. As I said, I looked at my face skin the first thing in the morning so I had to rub my eyes a few times to make sure that the amazing skin that I was seeing wasn't due to morning blurriness/grogginess. That's how nice, soft, calm, and even-toned my skin looked. My skin has always been: pale as a ghost, sensitive, thin, red, oily but feels dry because it lacks moisture(?), and I have very large pores. I've always had very sensitive skin. For example, In high school I bought tea tree oil and excitedly applied it on acne spots before I went to bed. The next day, i woke up with a first degree burns on my face and had to go to the ER. I'm also the type of person whose simple papercuts get infected instead of just healing and disappearing like for other people. I've tried a ton of skincare products. Many different brands of: toners, serums, ampoules, creams, clay masks, sheet masks, rubber masks, pore strips, exfoliators, etc. None of them really worked for me. Sure, my skin looked plump and glowy because all of the moisture/oil i was forcing into my skin, but it was also really red, raw, and sensitive. Skin barrier became very compromised. I've also stopped using face creams/lotions (although i really need it because my skin is so dry and tight without it) because I felt like they were too heavy and blocking my already large and noticeable pores. Then, I came across this la roche posay cream. Someone said it's good for sensitive and eczema prone skin (I have eczema, but not on my face). Immediately upon first application, I was like "oooh this feels good". I didn't know a cream could feel sooo soothing, calming, and comfortable on the skin. Anyways, my skin looks amazing after one usage. It look and feels HEALTHY. It feels alive and breathable if that makes any sense haha. Also, I don't recommend using this on your face without prior lubrication with some sort of other watery skincare product. For example, a toner. I use a very calming toner with Cica extract rather than astringent toners that claim to have "pore tightening" abilities because those tend to be really drying and harsh for sensitive skin. ... show more

I have extremely sensitive skin that is super dry as well and saw this being recommended by a derm on YT. Took a chance at it and now I can’t see myself without this. I use a very high strength gel Tretinoin once a week at night and this is what I use the morning after so I wont experience the dryness, tightness and flaking effect. I love this for after sun exposure as well. This is extremely soothing and moisturizing and I highly recommend to all people with super sensitive dry skin like mine. I have struggled with perinasal dermatitis (also known as perioral dermatitis but more specific to the side of the nose) on and off for years and was diagnosed this spring. The sun causes me to have really bad flare ups. This week Tuesday I had the worst flare up I've ever had. My nose was sore, cracked, dry, red, and blistery so I did some research and found this product worked well for others with perioral dermatitis. Thanks to amazon I had it the next day. It is now Saturday, I used it morning and night the last 4 days and I woke up each day with more healing. Today I only have some dry skin left with a very small amount of redness. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CREAM FOR PERINASAL DERMATITIS (from personal experience, I am not a professional)! So glad I tried it and I hope it can help someone else out there too. Okay when I bought this I did a ton of research on it, it was very split many people saying it broke them out and was bad for oily skin… ANYWAYS I have severe oily and acne prone skin and still tried it, i just applied a very thin layer of it over my face after all my other stuff and before my moisturizer at night. I was breaking out so bad and it literally like has cleared a majority of my breakout over night. I’ve only been using it for two days and it’s literally worked magic. I figured it would be good for me since I do also use the Paula’s Choice BHA 2% and them together is MAGIC. Don’t sleep on it. I used my paula’s choice and forgot sunscreen that day which completely busted my skin barrier which is why I invested in this product and I DO NOT REGRET MY PURCHASE!! Literal magic used on its own or especially for me with the Paula’s Choice together at night. (Don’t use Paula’s choice every night though it will damage your skin barrier) Anyways of course I will buy again when I run out! ... show more

I recently quit using topical steroids, and I have been getting the worst run of eczema flares of my entire life, while waiting for an alternate treatment. this is the only thing that helps soothe the rash that itches to the bones, and helps heal my skin in just 2 days! It is a bit pricey to buy this cream to cover my entire torso and arms, but not only does it calmmy flares, it heals my skin. Which is way better than what steroids did for me before.i will keep this on stand by for all future flare ups ... show more

I get seasonal eczema. Have tried many things but my dermatologist recommended this. One application at night and by the next day my eczema is clearing up! During a flair up, I apply daily. Once under control, only as needed. It is better than hydrocortisone! Well worth the money!

My skin was super dry and started peeling a lot after I begin using Tretinoin 0.1% that i was prescribed from my dermatologist. I needed something to help sooth my skin because it was irritating so much. I went on Youtube and one girl recommended this cream. And because I have been using all the skincare products from La Rosey Pochey, adding this to my skincare routine was definitely a right decision. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do.
