It is very cute and my granddaughter loves it but ... it is a little hard to assemble unless you have a regular phillips and a small phillips. The hinges have tiny screws and a regular screwdriver is too big. Also, it comes with the holes for assembly predrilled but on a couple of pieces the two boards don't line up perfectly. I've bought plenty of KidKraft brand products in the past so when my daughter recently became an owner of her first American Girl doll, I knew I had to buy this. Not only did it ship super quick, let me tell you something..for someone like me(who is not the one who can put things together very well), this was very quick and easy to complete. I didn't even read the instructions, that's how simple the design is! The only "issue" I had was when it came to front doors. Those screws are T I N Y! Luckily, I had my tiny screwdriver that I use for my glasses which worked just fine. I know I read a review that someone had put that said that it was missing holes. I don't know the full details of their story, but I too thought this was missing two holes on one of the hinged parts. Fortunately, the holes were just painted over and I was still able to get the screws in just fine. After it was put together even my daughter commented on how "pretty" it was. I agree--it's a nice little piece. Sure it's not real wood, but I wasn't expecting heirloom furniture. It's a great size, although I do wish that it had a little bit more storage space at the bottom for those loose items like shoes, socks, hats, etc. but it will work just fine. It came with hangers as shown and I did order some more(a different brand) which fit just fine. The doors don't close without the hangers kind of going off to the side, but it's not like we have to force the doors shut. And that really doesn't bother my daughter, so of course it doesn't bother me. Sure this thing isn't going to hold EVERYTHING, but she has a lot of outfits/dresses so it's stuffed, but still...it fits. I personally think this is a great little buy if you don't want to spend an arm and a leg for the AG brand one. ... show more

Easy to put together. My dog has too many cloths so only her finest dresses go in, but super cute and wasn’t too expensive. Cheapest option for a thing like it. My friends daughter always plays with it when she comes over. I think it would be a big hit for a kid

It will work, but the door doesn't latch shut. The magnet on the right door isn't string enough to hold both doors closed. Tried contacting customer support for a replacement part but they need a batch number which I couldn't provide. So it'll work, but I'm disappointed.

I ordered it for my daughter birthday but didn’t open it until later. Edges are chipped and not that sturdy. My daughter will love it either way but I wish it was in good condition. Now I can’t exchange it.

My daughter loves her new armoire she likes it has a mirror which is why I chose it 18 inch doll clothes from different manufacturers fits well as well the shoes on the shelf. My only complaint is the one door doesn’t sit flush it appears that the hinge has some damage but kid craft has a very easy form you can use online to order replacement parts which I did so I anticipate this being resolved. Ordered two. Fairly easy to assemble. Both have issues with the left door not latching. Neither are really big enough to put clothes on hangers and close the doors. Can only hold about 5-6 outfits and the pole doesn’t have enough clearance to hang a dress. Just shirts and coats. Shoe space only holds 2-3 pairs of shoes. One door arrived scratched in the paint and mirror. Not worth sending it back for a replacement. ... show more

    • Easy assembling until you get to the door hinges
Everything up to the hinges is easy to assemble. Make sure you use a magnetic screwdriver to assemble the teeny tiny screws into the hinges. After almost 45 minutes, we eventually finished it.
