We were super excited for this table set and have lots of other KidKraft items but this is a total disappointment. Assembly takes some time, about 40 minutes or so and there are a ton of pieces and the provided tools do the trick, but specialty ones will definitely speed the process up. I normally don't mind and KidKraft products are usually great but not this one. Our son was gently banging some crayons on the table while coloring and the entire surface was dented and damaged within the first 10 minutes of use. If I had known this, I would have not spent the kind of money on this product and gone with a less expensive one. Pros: Solid construction! Table and chairs will not fall apart Great design and function Cons: Super super soft wood that damaged easily Time consuming to assemble (not a con for me but likely for others) Wood quality is poor ... show more

Purchased with for my Preschool aged son. We are doing preschool at home and we needed a place for him to write and sit and learn things and this is great. I spent days reviewing other sets and kept coming across the issue of sturdiness and durability. I needed something really sturdy because he is a 4 year old boy and isn’t the most gentle on things. I have seen him stand on and jump off of these chairs and I’ve watched him climb onto the table and stand up and it has held so much more than that. The chairs are always being pushed around and his older sisters have even sat on them as well as myself and it’s held all of us just fine. The most weight at one time i have seen on a chair is 160 pounds and it’s still just fine. I have had to wash some crayon off of it and it washed off great. I wouldn’t use anything abrasive on it but I used a magic eraser and it came right off. I would 1000x recommend this set to anyone needing durability. ... show more

Received this table timely but one of the chairs was damaged. I immediately called Kid Kraft. A replacement chair was not in stock & would have to be back ordered. Didn't have a clue just how long I would have to wait for the chair. To my surprise, it was delivered just a few weeks later & packaged extremely well! They even shipped a whole new set of hardware (which I really didn't need as I had it from the original order)! Was very impressed with Kid Kraft's attention to detail & promptness. I bought some clear plastic tablecloth by the yard & fitted it over the table so it won't get too damaged from child's play. Overall a great little table & chairs for the price. ... show more

This set of table and chairs was perfect for having little kids to stay. They played happily at the table for an hour at a time and felt it was their own space near the grownup table. I was pleased to see clear instructions, well-organized bags of parts, and sturdy, well-finished materials. It was easy and quick to put the whole set together. was sorely disappointed because I believed I was getting a darker stained set.. I'm not sure why they posted an incorrect picture... if you look up pecan stain, it's like what I received in my personal image post. .. but what is shown is inaccurate.. sturdy enough and perfect size for my 3/4 yr Olds. Should last for years to come. Simple to put together. Would suggest wood glue for pegs in seats. Still 5 star because it's sturdy and perfect size ... show more

Amazing table with four chairs looks great is sturdy and has so far been able to handle three rumbustious boys aged 3 - 6 all fit comfortably and enjoy doing homework , coloring and eating. Great value for price - complete set up took less than an hour.

Purchased this table for my four grandkids who are 18 months-3 years old. They LOVE this table. It gave them some independence from being strapped in a booster seat. A bit harder for this old grandma to keep them contained but they smiles, giggles and squeals of delight that they could sit at the table and eat, and color, and play is well worth it. However I gave it only 4 stars for durability because within the first few days we found out sippy cups being pounded on the table does create what we call character divets! We have not experienced the loosening of the screws in the chairs or table, but Papaw does check them often since that seemed to be a concern from other purchasers. The table and chairs were easy peasy putting them together. Papaw had them together rather quickly while two of the granddaughters waited anxiously to get a hold of them. They have been scooted across our laminate flooring several times, but leave no scratches. Little things make us happy! ... show more

Very high quality for the price (roughly $100). Assembly was tedious, but not too bad. Took me 3 hours to put together, and I suck at this kind of thing. The "Pecan" color is a lovely warm medium shade. Chairs seem sturdy enough to hold adults. Tips: get some felt pads for the chair and table legs--the set does not include these. Also, some wood glue helps with the wooden dowels (not included in set). My kid is 18 months old and when I showed him the completed table and chairs, all he wanted to do was push the chairs across the room. His feet also do not touch the floor (he is 2 ft. 8 in). But, I bet this table would be perfect for a 3 year old. I'm still quite happy with it, as it seems built to last and is quite beautiful--especially considering it was so inexpensive! Cannot comment on durability or scratch resistance, as I've had it for only 1 day. Would recommend to others. ... show more
