(I have to put new batteries in them to get a good picture of the lights.) This product was a very nice addition to my room’s renovation. They were far more sturdy than I expected. They did have a few leaves fall off during untangling but like…3 in three packs I bought. Very impressed how they held. The price for these imo is very fair and a great budget item for decor. It does not provide any real room light but has a beautiful lighting effect on the wall for in the dark. There is quite a stench when opening the package but the company here on amazon and in the boxes apologize in advance for the odor. That was acceptable enough for me. I opened the window for a day and the smell was gone. It was pretty simple to hang them too, just hung them by tacking the center to the wall. Bought these for my room. They did have a chemical smell, but I cracked my window open for a bit and they’re fine now. Came with lots of vines, but not really enough lights. I’d recommend either buying two packs of these vines or getting some string lights separately. Has different modes for the lights the vines come with, pretty nice. ... show more

I bought four packages of these vines and lights because I had an idea how to use them in my bedroom. The picture of the bed is the end result. So many people have said that the vines have a horrible smell, therefore I opened them outside to make sure to air them out. Honestly, the smell was not terrible, it smelled like plastic, as one would expect. Three of the four packages had vines that looked great. The plastic was cut well and the leaves were symmetrical. The fourth package had all 12 vines as the second picture I provided. There was extra plastic on the vines and the leaves were not uniform. Thankfully I only really needed three packages. I’m not using the twinkle lights because that’s not the esthetic I am going for, however one string of lights is not enough for 12 strands of Ivy, in my opinion. Something that I did notice as I was unpacking the vines, they shed A LOT. I had to vacuum a couple times to get the tiny green strings off my floor and off my bed. It’s from the leaves, since they’re a plastic cut fabric, they fray a bit. And I understand that, however I felt like adding that so that others can be aware of that situation. To secure the vines, I ended up folding them in half and using a thumb tack. It was simple and because of my canopy bed, aesthetically pleasing since you cannot see the tacks. I wanted to love these, and in the end I do really like them hanging, but I feel they were overpriced and of disappointing quality. One of the promised two light strings was not included. This is pretty upsetting honestly but I didn't care to go through the trouble of sending it back and ordering a different set so I made do. They were already overpriced and to not include a crucial piece, hmph. They smelled awful, almost fishy, upon opening, though that has gone away after a week. Assembly took a fair bit of time as well as they come deconstructed. The quality of the vines is so-so. Actually that's why I made do with one light strand, I doubled up the vines on the one I had, using wire to wrap them all together, hung using 3m hooks. Otherwise, I feel it would have been too sparse. After doubling, I have two strands of vine left. The lights are really pretty. Most of the settings are kind of dumb and very similiar to each other but slow glow and constant are nice. Wish they had a timer though. Overall, I like these enough but for the price would purchase elsewhere. I saw later that Walmart and Target sell them for less, already assembled, for the same or less. ... show more

Absolutely love this! The picture doesn’t even do it justice. I did not expect to love how amazing it looks in my room!! It does come in single strands and I thought it was all one piece so it did take longer then expected to hang. Also, I wish there would’ve been a guide on how to wrap lights in the leaves evenly. Besides that the end result honestly looks so good that I don’t even care. I winged it with the lights and love how it turned out. I’m literally going to buy this two more times for other rooms. I’ve seen alot of people comment on smell, when I first opened the package there was a small plastic smell, but it went away super fast and I haven’t noticed anything lingering. The media could not be loaded. This came packaged well , didn’t have much of an odor . The leaves are easy to assemble and use ! I added some fake flowers as well , the lights are not attacked to the leaves so you can place them yourself and have fun! Such a great product and the lights auto turn off after 6 hours ! Which is great (imo) ... show more
