Don't expect exact replicas - those will be a whole lot more expensive. But these are a very nice, quality set of "close enough" replicas. The color is bright and realistic. They have a nice heft to them - I was impressed by the weight. The detail and texture are very well done. I appreciate that they came enclosed in a clear case to protect them. Overall, this is a really cool set to add to a display. (One small note: the listing says these are for ages 3-6 years. I wouldn't recommend these little kid toys. Someone over 6 *could* play with them, but I don't see why they'd want to. This would be more for someone who wanted something to collect and show off - not play with their toys.)

I bought these on a whim and I really don't mind them as collectibles. I would argue that they are not necessarily toys -- they are quite heavy and clearly made out of some form of metal. I'm also not sure what kid you're showing John Wick too that they may want these. All of that being said, the engravings on these are quite nice; although obviously a bit minimalist in comparison to the coins in the film, they don't look too cheap. They're each enclosed in a firm acrylic case (which you /can/ open), which is ideal for storage, especially in humid environments.

These look pretty decent, the image is sharp and crisp but some of the edges are a bit rough. Like minimal effort was put into blunting the freshly cut/stamped edge. I only handled one, preferring to leave the rest in their cases for now. I want to see what I can do to make them look used, but don't want to mess up the others until I have an idea of what works so the other may not feel quite the same. It is shiny, can show finger prints, all as I would expect. They are apparently made of steel, as they are magnetic which I did not expect. I am not sure if I like that. For the most part, it probably does not matter. All in all I am pretty pleased. Great addition to my collection and I am looking forward to seeing what I can do with them.

These are beautiful rounds. They are obviously plated to look like gold rounds. I don't know if these are 24K gold plated -- I'd be surprised if they were, to be honest. But they do have the same gold tone as my real 24K gold coins, so that's a definite plus. The quality of the rounds are very, very good. The rounds are well struck, and have plenty of fine details. They are magnetic, which indicates they are steel rounds. The capsules are not a tight fit, so the coins rattle in the capsules. I hate ill-fitting capsules, so I ditched those and put them in the my silver Canadian maple leaf capsules, which hold these coins without any rattle. The problem is the capsules won't close all the way, and there's a slight gap -- I can live with that. Overall, I'm very pleased with the quality of these rounds.

If you like props from movies, these are pretty good. They come in plastic containers to keep them looking good. My use for them was a bit difference, as I am making a fountain to appear as a Dragons Hoard. These coins looked awesome tossed in with random treasure. They are nice enough that I'll probably keep one or two in the case.

These are awesome replicas of the “John Wick/Continental Hotel” gold coins from WRFLC. Copied on the coins used for barter under the “High Table”, each coin is gold colored, 40mm in diameter (1.5”) and weighs 26grams (about 1 ounce). One side has the Latin inscription “ENS CAUSA SUI” (You are your own cause) and the year in Roman Numerals, MMI (2001). The other side is inscribed with “EXUNITAE VIRES” (Out of unity, comes strength). Each coin comes in a protective clear plastic case. They look great, feel great and are well made. Very impressive collectibles.

I'm a big fan of the John Wick series. When I saw this listing for these coins, they ended up being something that I felt I needed to have. They come in 2 piece plastic coin cases that separate relatively easily. I don't care of I scar up the coin, I'm carrying one "bare" as I enjoy the feel of a heavy coin.

The John Wick Coin set is a well made, fairly faithful replica of the gold coins used as underworld currency in the John Wick movies. The only discrepancy I can see is that the figure of justice on the reverse is not blindfolded in these replica coins; otherwise this is an excellent replica. In the movie, the John Wick gold coins were used in the movie as currency. The idea was that High Table--the secret underworld organization of the Wick universe--minted their own coins to use as an untraceable currency and were used in the movie, for example, when Wick pays for his room at the Continental Hotel or for payment for illegal services from other High Table acolytes. These gold coins look like their movie counterparts. On the face there is a bold lion standing in front of a shield. The latin phrase, Ens Causa Sui ('you are your own cause') emblazoned on top and the year, MMI, or 2001 in Roman numerals on the bottom. The reverse features a woman cradling a bunch of acanthus leaves in her left arm and holding the shield with her right. The original coins from the movie have the woman blindfolded (perhaps she is meant to be a figure representing Justice), but on these oins there is no blindfold. She is surrounded by acanthus leaves, in a classical, Greek way. And above her are the words Exunitas Vires ('ununited forces'). The coins are a standard 40 mm size and have standard reeding on the sides. They have a nice weight to them as well. The description states that the coins are made out of iron, which is--I think--rather an unlikely choice. The coins are magnetic, so I would guess that they are made out of steel. I strongly doubt that they are gold plated and are possibly brass plated to keep down costs. That said, these are otherwise really nice replica coins for fans of the movie. Recommended.
