I owned a pair of JBU shoes in a very similar style and loved them. They go with pants, skirts, jeans and are an all-purpose shoe that's comfortable for walking. I thought this pair, a very similar design to the first shoes, would fit the same way, but I should have taken more time when trying them on and realized that they are wider than my first pair. I put in some shoe inserts, but they show a bit along the openings under the arch. I will wear them this way , but I'd prefer not to and caution buyers to check fit carefully. I love this brand, and this particular shoe is a wonderful shoe. I rated down one star because it fits a bit loose and the strap is limited due to the Velcro. I cannot tighten it very much. Even with a loose fit, shoes are comfy and no blisters! I enjoy the unique design and my feet are comfortable all day. My foot size is between 8.5 and 9. Found these shoes in a local store, but they didn't have my size. They are "podiatrist" recommended. They felt comfortable and had a great tough bottom with toe protection for major walking on hikes. I mistakenly went up a size bigger than I usually wear based on the store ones, so I had to return them. Then I ordered my true size and they were wonderful for a trip with lots and lots of walking. Let me begin by saying that I have heard good things about the JBU brand, and the shoe, itself, is really cute. The soles are sturdy and non-skid, which is a must. The Insole feels great. I really like the velcro strap, as well. I could not, however, give these shoes 5 stars. They lost a star because of dishonest advertising. Notice the carefree, happy model in the ad, dangling her JBU-clad feet for you to see? Yeah. She doesnt wear these shoes on the regular, and the way I can tell is that she doesnt look like the kind of woman who, when she steps, it looks like she's baking bread in her shoes. These shoes are BIG!! They're obviously made for much wider feet than the average. I was so excited to get them, and couldnt wait to wear them. I have several pairs of Jambi Mary Janes in different styles. They are stylish, easy to wear with pants or skirts. They are comfortable, with a wide toe and padded insole. The rubber outsole is easy care and great traction. The Bellarose is in a dark charcoal which I will wear year round.

First, these blue denim shoes look great with blue jeans or white pants. Having had 3 episodes of plantar fasciitis , I can depend on JBU and Sketchers shoes to avoid a flare-up. And I always get compliments on style.

fits per size, attractive, comfortable. only negative is placement of velcro on strap. if attached as designed it's very loose on top of the foot thus making a floppy fit. I have pulled it forward to fit more tightly but you have to really crease it hard to make it fold there and stay attached because you are trying to fold on the velcro. ... show more

This is a good shoe for work. I wear them without socks and they make my feet sweat a bit. They are wider than I would like but they do have arch support. My foot is medium wide (maybe on the narrow side).
