I owned a pair of JBU shoes in a very similar style and loved them. They go with pants, skirts, jeans and are an all-purpose shoe that's comfortable for walking. I thought this pair, a very similar design to the first shoes, would fit the same way, but I should have taken more time when trying them on and realized that they are wider than my first pair. I put in some shoe inserts, but they show a bit along the openings under the arch. I will wear them this way , but I'd prefer not to and caution buyers to check fit carefully. I could almost require a wide rather than normal width shoe, so those with narrow feet would might these ill-fitting. I do love the design, color and comfort. ... show more

    • Great summer shoe.
I’ve purchased a new pair of jambo Sandles every year for about 8 years. I do like the look and the fit is reliable. 7 is a 7. My only Beef is I wish they made the strip of Velcro longer. After about 6 months of wear these shoes get a bit wider and I wish I had more Velcro to tighten them.

The color was a lot darker than shown in the picture. I actually thought I was buying white, but I didn't pay enough attention to the name of the color. Sure enough, it says gray. Other than that, I'm very happy with this cute shoe. The fit is perfect. I'm a size 9 and that is what I bought.

I love this brand, and this particular shoe is a wonderful shoe. I rated down one star because it fits a bit loose and the strap is limited due to the Velcro. I cannot tighten it very much. Even with a loose fit, shoes are comfy and no blisters! I enjoy the unique design and my feet are comfortable all day. My foot size is between 8.5 and 9. I have another pair of this brand of shoe in a 9 and they fit perfect. For this design, I personally would have preferred the 8.5. ... show more

Let me begin by saying that I have heard good things about the JBU brand, and the shoe, itself, is really cute. The soles are sturdy and non-skid, which is a must. The Insole feels great. I really like the velcro strap, as well. I could not, however, give these shoes 5 stars. They lost a star because of dishonest advertising. Notice the carefree, happy model in the ad, dangling her JBU-clad feet for you to see? Yeah. She doesnt wear these shoes on the regular, and the way I can tell is that she doesnt look like the kind of woman who, when she steps, it looks like she's baking bread in her shoes. These shoes are BIG!! They're obviously made for much wider feet than the average. I was so excited to get them, and couldnt wait to wear them. Unfortunately, I knew from the first wearing that I wouldnt be buying any more JBU brands, and that is really disappointing. ... show more

Very nicely made shoe but much too wide and long. I wear a 7.5 in Clark’s shoes which is what I ordered in the Jambu sandals. Will be returning unfortunately.

Jambu has been my favorite brand for a few years. The fit is always true and they are comfortable as well as stylish. Amazon frequently alerts me to great sales so I have several styles & colors in my wardrobe. Excellent product.
