I got these because me and my friends have been playing A LOT of poker recently. We had been using paper cards you get at the gas station or dollar store and they just weren’t holding up. Paper cards would tear, fold, get wet and ruined, and overall sucked. These cards on the other hand, nothing short of amazing! The price is insanely good, they look cool as hell (very easy to ready), are completely waterproof (I’ve literally dunked them fully under water to test), and shuffle great. The only thing is, when you first get them, they are slippery. You need to use them a bit to get them to not slip so much. I already lost an ace in one pack, luckily it comes with 2 identical packs so you can use the other or switch cards around if you lose them. This is a neat deck. It's back is not soft like bicycles. It doesn't fan easily because it has a very metallic design feel. But not ever effect you do requires a fanning of the cards. The backs are bronzish/gold in color that is raised from the deck. This is a feel I haven't experienced with a deck before. I like it. The front has a 3D / shimmering appearance and feeling. Anyone playing with the deck will be looking at the fronts and comment on how cool they are. One joker is gold in tone and the other is silverish, offering a good option for changing the spectators joker's color. There is an extra card which is a different front bronze look design than the back which is more intricate. The price is right. These are fun and worth having to play or show. ... show more

They look and feel really nice. Definitely better than paper cards by a long shot. Only complaint is some of the cards are starting to show signs of wear but we use them for hours every Saturday, overall I recommend.

Using these cards to play with poker. The regular cards that came with the set were ruined after few uses. These looked so good so thought of giving it a try. They are very good quality and thicker than regular cards. We used it for few hours and nothing happened till now. Only downside is they are so slippery and fly like anything when you miss them from your hand especially when shuffling but I guess that comes with every plastic cards.
