Its a nice controller, but the silver "paint" on mine looked like it was patina ing? Im aware thats not possible if its not copper, but when I scraped the stuff off, it left black plastic on the triggers. Still working just fine and love the light options!

Right, so this controller is the first one I've bought going into Hollow Knight. I've been keyboard and mouse for my whole gaming career, and though my experience pool for controllers is small, I have to say I like this controller! So, the pros. The textured rubber on the grips feels incredible. I know that I get stressed and grip things real tightly (especially in Hollow Knight), and I was worried this thing would just slip right through my hands. I can't say anything about the tactile feel of the buttons and triggers, but I feel it's completely serviceable. And I LOVE the colored light in the center. You can make it all sorts of colors, but my favorites are the bright blue and the purple setting. Finally, I don't think it's standard, but having the arrow buttons on the upper corner instead of where the left stick is feels wonderful for my long spider fingers. Now, the cons. So, here's the biggest one. My particular controller has a habit of reading (UP) when I press the (LEFT) button if there's any pressure upwards at all. I feel this is a BIG issue. Hollow Knight has directional attacking, and this little quirk of my controller has gotten me killed more times than I can count. Next, I don't love the material of some of the buttons and the triggers. It's slick reflective plastic, and your fingers slide about easily, which feeds into the earlier con. I would like for them to be a bit heavier and perhaps have just a tad of texture so each button press feels definite. Though, that might just be me. Overall, I know this controller will serve me well for at least a year, and I have plans to fix the slippy buttons, and I couldn't enjoy the look and tactile feel of it more than I already do. It looks great, but is missing in the minute details. But if you want a good looking controller, I can say I recommend it! ... show more

I have been using this controller for a long time. I am awaiting surgery and so all I can do is play video games because of COVID but in general, if i can't fish...well I get my game on. So, I have been trying this controller out for the past week. It does appear a bit cheesy but I adore it. I bought the 2 year warranty for a few extra bucks. For the price tag, I can't complain. So far I have played Mushroom Wars 2, Resident Evil 2, Final Fantasy nine and I am about to get into some metro (figured I'd catch up on my childhood a bit). I play using my laptop. I connect my Dell G7 (588) to my T.V using a standard HDMI cord. I then plug my controller into my laptop. I had no issues setting up the controller. I did have to go into the game settings from time to time to adjust the controls but that is typical. I have a three year warranty on my laptop through best buy, so i am really putting this laptop to the test. I took this laptop camping with me and it held out very well. I even scrapped the bottom trying to get to confession before I embarked to Alaska...just incase. I am a commercial fisherman and I damaged my hands a few months ago. I am recovering but I got a pinched nerve that is making my whole forearm go numb/radiating pain...I can't sleep not just because of the pain but becuase there is so many video games I have to catch up on. The rain sucks...it is salmon season though but I am awaiting the surgeon. I am stuck in one of those catch 22 ordeals right now and thus I pulled out the lazy boy chair in my hotel or made one out of pillows. I looked around for a controller because i can't use the mouse. It hurts my hand to use the mouse. I can use the keyboard though and that was when I got the idea to try using a controller. I use the controller for about an hour and my hand cramps up. It has nothing to do with the controller but more of my condition. Ultimately, I really enjoyed this controller. I tried using the one from logtech from Best Buy and I hated it so much I threw away awhile back. I tried this controller and I absolutely enjoy it. It has a nefty little ordeal that lights up...pretty cool and UNIQUE. I would suggest getting the two year warranty just incase though but for the price it can't be beat. ... show more

This pc controller is good quality, the only thing I don't like is that the triggers are too sensitive, when I play pc games that causes me problems sometimes, apart from that I have no other complaints

I like the ps4-style controllers but I mainly play on PC (windows 10), in Steam, where the sony controller is kind of a pain to use.. This controller though, literally plug-and-play. No "ds4windows" needed like with sony's ps4 controller. no need to go into big-picture mode on Steam. it just works! right out of the box, plugged it in, played some Dirt Rally 2. no config needed. Lots of different modes; 1 seems targeted at emulation, which is awesome. and that turbo feature is going to come in handy too. feels great on the palms - the textured grip is very satisfying and a big improvement over the stock ps4 controller. L2 and R2 have significant travel, which is exactly what I want in analog buttons; great for driving games. If I were to nit-pick a little - I do see a couple specs of dirt stuck UNDER the clear plastic in the middle, blemishing the RGB light - but no big deal - they are really tiny. and honestly, it still looks kind of awesome with my PC RGB set to red, and the controller set to red. so yeah, very happy ... show more
