This belt came in a sturdy, easy to open and branded cardboard box. The box design is very practical, if plain. Definitely giftable though. Inside the box, the belt was laid out in a circle and had some kind of materials protective sheath over the entire length. The two carabiner loops were each inside a different small plastic bag. Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this belt but as soon as I “unsheathed” it, I was impressed and very pleasantly surprised. Everything about it seems solid and well-made. The rigid nylon is robust, the stitching on it is perfect and so is the fit and finish on the buckle and other metal components. I couldn’t find any signs of cheapness, skipped manufacturing steps or bad QA. Even the two fasteners on the back of the buckle are good quality and were perfectly tightened. The belt was true to size, was easy enough to loop though my pair of Vertx jeans and works as advertised. You just pull on the tongue to get things as tight as you like, and it stays that way. Hold a little lever switch on the bottom of the buckle and you can now untighten the belt without effort. I went on a three mile hike with one of my large EDC’ on appendix and everything was comfortable enough and held in place great. Anyway, this is my first ratcheting EDC belt, and I am rather impressed by the quality and functionality. For the price, you really go wrong with this one! ... show more

A great and well designed belt. The belt is comfortable to wear but is stiff enough to transfer the weight of your firearm. I like the buckle mechanism, it is nice and secure and easy to use. This belt should be sold in all stores. This is the perfect carry belt or just as a belt in general. This belt is very well made, durable, and simple to use. The belt is made tough and keeps your pants where they are supposed to be on my hips. The belt when you put this on has a clicking mechanism to lock the belt in place. This belt is great! Very well made and just the feel, feels durable! It is heavier than my leather belt but in a good way. I wanted a belt like this that's easily adjustable because of my conceal carry. Sometimes I'll do an IWB holster and then change to OWB holster mid day and this makes it easier. Also, to be able to loosen and tighten in a split second is great! I no longer have to worry about ruining the outside look off my belt with putting on and taking off my holster. Been wearing this belt for a few weeks on the weekend. It holds my leather holster in place very well with my 5.11 pants that I wear when working around my 5 acre property. I like the ratcheting feature the most as it allows me to get a perfect fitting belt that is neither too tight or too loose.
