I was nervous to order a pair of jeans without trying them on. I am so happy I did because I LOVE them. The rise didn't make me look like Urkele. The length is just right and is about an inch above my ankle. They do stretch a bit, so if you're in between sizes, I would say to size down.

These pants are really a step up from my usual pair of jeans. They are definitely a high end pair of jeans, but I really can see the difference. They are super comfortable while also looking presentable and chic. They are perfect for work without feeling too dressed up and they fit like a glove. They run true to size for me and have a great amount of stretch in them. They have washed well and I haven't noticed the color fading at all. These Hudson mid-rise jeans fit as expected. I love the brand so much that I wore a black pair to death. They last for seasons and years and are always a reliable staple for whatever I want to wear. They seem to get better the more they are worn and washed. It began to disintegrate after a few years. I also have a pair of the Nico low-rise cuffed crops, and they have back pocket plackets. This pair does not; it is almost designed as if the plackets were worn away. This fabric also seems more elastic and lighter than previous pairs of Hudson jeans that I've owned. I prefer the non-placket version as it's a place for my cell phone which never quite fit in the other jeans. I like the mid-rise too. It seems like all of my jeans lately are high-rise, so I am finding this pair interesting. I typically purchase a 28-R, as I did here, and it fits as expected—a little loose with a straight leg but copped enough that I can still put on my boots. I'm not inherently curvy, but I do feel these jeans flatter what I do have. There is more of a boot cut towards the bottom of my pair than I realized. You can't tell in the picture, but if that will bother you on a copped pair of jeans, FYI. Overall, looking forward to wearing these. ... show more

As an elder millennial, I'm super stuck on the skinny jeans trend and having trouble getting into the straight leg style that everyone is into right now. However, I'm a huge fan of Hudson jeans, specifically the Nico style, so I was really excited to try these. And I do like them more than expected with a few caveats. They definitely run a little big when compared to other Nico jeans I have. I have several pairs of Nico Super Skinny jeans in size 25 that fit perfectly, so that's what I got these pants in, too. And while they fit OK, they're definitely large in the waist and I think I could have comfortably sized down. I'm 5'3, 100 lbs for reference. As you can probably see from my photos and the listing photos, the jeans are also quite a bit longer on me than on the model. Just a couple things to keep in mind when you're trying to decide what size to purchase! I'm still trying to feel totally comfortable in a straight leg jean, but these are helping me get there- they're super comfortable and relaxed (much more so than skinny jeans!) and they feel like a high-quality jean. If you're a fan of Hudson and looking for a good straight leg jean, I definitely recommend these... But you may want to size down from your other Hudsons! ... show more

I am 5’6” and 125 lbs. I normally wear US women's size 4 or 27 in jeans. I ordered the 27 regular and they fit as expected. The waist is just a little lower than mid-rise hitting an easy inch below my navel. The cuffs hit right at my ankle bones on my short legs. If you have long legs, the jeans will be cropped for sure. The denim feels aged, soft, and stretchy. The fabric is quite thick and has the shape and feel of a high-end pair of jeans. They hug my curves nicely and have enough stretch to make the comfortable for all day wear. This is my first pair of Hudson’s and while I don’t love the current price of $195.00 I would like to have more from this brand. I recommend ordering your usual size. ... show more

I’m 5’4” and these jeans are so long they can cover my whole foot after buttoning up. Fit a bid odd around the knees too, so they’re not really skinny jeans fit.

These Hudson Nico Mid Rise Jeans are made of a nice quality fabric with enough stretch to feel comfortable lounging, while still retaining their shape. The cut, wash, leg length, and width are perfect. They look great and feel great and I highly recommend them.
