When I opened the package I was all of confused. It was in two pieces.So I go to measure it against my door and my fears were right...way too small. But I worked it out by putting vines around it. Came really out nice.

    • Whereas the mural is really fun, it is inherently marred by the lines created by being rolled.

We were so excited to have this to cover a door in my exercise room but the very nature of the material, having been rolled in a tube shape and shipped, irrevocably marred the finish. The layers were separated in lines where expansion was different between the layers. It took hours to apply the mural and if it had been an important spot, it would have been trashed long before it was finished being applied. As it was, my very particular husband, who is able to build almost anything and does so to a professional level, was unable to align the center edges, finally giving up and just hanging the mural sections the best he could. It's a cute mural but barely worth the cost, even as inexpensive as it was. Still, I like it if I don't look to closely at the imperfections of the surface and alignment. ... show more

Put it at end of hallway facing the entry...went over an outlet, put a nightlight there, it added ambience and looks so real. Love it! I trimmed the topand made it arched, looks even better.

Would have been a perfect setup if it didn't leave a dark seam down the middle. you had to overlap about a 1/8 inch to get the picture to align up which left a dark seam down the middle of the picture.

No matter how hard I tried the pattern would not match up. Matching the pattern is what makes this work, otherwise it looks like a cheap decal. I threw this away and wrote my money off for a loss. Good luck to you if you get this to work…
