I've had some of these on my service truck for several years and they finally went bad. These brackets work great to carry a shovel or digging bar on the inside of my utility box to keep it up off the bed of the truck and out of the way. The material these are made of seems to be a cross between rubber and plastic and are not near as pliable as the ones I had in the past. Not sure whether or not this is going to become an issue and only time will tell. My concern is that once cold weather gets here they may become brittle but I will watch and see what happens and update this review as necessary. ... show more

These mounts are very similar to "quick fists" and work in the same manner. They are actually very useful and more versatile than just shovel mounts. We keep one mounted in the truck to hold a flashlight so it's always ready and easy to grab. I have also mounted some on our utility trailer, now when we take the tractor out, we can bring along multiple tools while not clogging up bed space. These do get the job done. I will get to the cons first which is why I removed a star. Cons • No hardware included. • One of the quick fists did not have a hold drilled for mounting. (QC issue) Pros • They hold reasonably well. • These work very well. I have them mounted in the bed of my truck on a custom mount so I can hold both my shovel and an axe. • The Axe handle is a little large for these but still is able to hold it in place. You might shop around a bit for a better price. This is my third set. All function similarly. If you can get a set at a good price with hardware that is probably the way to go. ... show more

These tool holders work well for just being a chunk of rubber. Installation is easy as long as you already have the correct hardware for your application. Mine are mounted under a tonneau cover so UV/weather aging shouldn't be an issue. I'm curious to see if they will be difficult to open/close when it gets cold. Ignore the weird size measurement - I think it should be 1-1/8 to 1-3/8" instead of 1-1/7 to 1-3/7. Freedom units are hard. ... show more

This is a set of four shovel handle clamp mounts by Hi-Lift. The quick release clamps are easily mounted via predrilled 3/16" holes in the clamp body (hardware not included). There are also four mounting washers included as well. The durable clamps have a rubber flap closure that securely holds the handle in place. The flap has five closure positions to handle smaller diameter handles. Each clamp has a 13 lb bearing capacity. It will fit a handle from 1-1/7" to 1-3/7" diameter. I ordered these rubber clamps to mount my shovel to the top of my roof rack, I had to drill, a bigger hole for the bolt to go through and attach it to my bracket but once I installed to my roof rack, I was able to mount my shovel in place

Solid rubber mountable grips for yard tools OR hi-lift jack for your trucks or trailers. I can see using them on my utility trailer to hold on to round items like my hi-lift jack OR yard tools. Has hole in the base to mount on the frame OR maybe a wood platform. My initial impression is that they are well made and should hold up for years.
