These mittens do exactly what I hoped - they keep my hands warm, regardless of the outside temperatures. The battery lasts well passed a day of skiing and, after the first run, I often have to turn the heat down to level one or two. I think these are the best purchase of my skiing career! Their customer service is amazing too. When I saw that they were made in China, I was a little concerned that I might not get a response. Not only did they respond quickly, but took care of my questions easily. This is my 2nd season with them - I’m so happy with my purchase!

I bought these because one of my old pair stopped working. These are head and shoulders better than my old ones which cost a LOT more. If the batteries last well, these will turn out to be a brilliant purchase. They fit great (I have smallish female hands), they are TOASTY warm, even on 2 and they are great looking as well.

I’m trying another pair before I decide to return these. The first time using them I let them warm up for a minute on high before going outside because my experience so far with heated hand gear is that they don’t get real warm. However after a minute or so I went to put the first one on and it was burning hot. It was like I just stuck my hand under scalding hot water. Unsure what to do because I had places to go, I turned it off then back on to the low setting. Still Very warm. When I went to put on the other mitt it I noticed it had turned off. It was also still room temperature like it never heated up at all. I made sure the lights had stayed on before I set them down to warm up because the previous pair of mitts I bought had a problem with turning off by themselves. The description says it has safety features. Not sure if the overheating is a flawed mitten or maybe it is the initial break in or not because after I left it seemed to hold temperature on low. Still very warm, I decided to turn it off for my ride for fear of being left in the cold with cold hands. After about a mile into my bike ride I could tell the mitt that shut off was not nearly as warm as it should be and turned it off as well. I’ll have to test them again. I will say this, even with the mitts turned off, they are hands down the warmest things I ever wore out in the cold on my bicycle. Very good insulation above and below as well as the thumb. Only my thumbs started to feel cool during my 30 minute bicycle commute. I have non heated gloves that I paid upwards of $100 that never kept my hands this warm. I think if I could find this same mitten without the heating feature, it would be more than sufficient for riding the bicycle in 20-30 degree weather. After iv tested these again and the new pair I will update. So far only 4 stars for burning my hand. I’m being generous because they are great even without the heated feature.

I ordered a pair of these heated mittens to wear to a football game where the temperature was not supposed to rise out of the 30's. I started with the power on low to conserve power, but over the course of the 3.5 hour game, I eventually raised it to high. My hands remained warm, but I do wish there was more heat in the thumb area. My thumb didn't freeze, but it was certainly colder than the rest of my hand. In the product video, the woman stated that the mittens weren't very heavy with the battery pack in. I would disagree. But they weren't so heavy that my mittens couldn't stay in place. The wrist strap certainly helped to keep the mittens in place as well. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase - and wish I would have ordered a pair years ago.

They have limited heat even on high. These aren’t very effective for managing Reynauds Syndrome in the cold for a few hours. I also didn’t have heat work in one of the thumbs. The gloves themselves didn’t feel that high quality or warm on their own. I bought Columbia Whirlbird 2 (not heated, just good quality) and they keep my warmer than these gloves did. Once I add a hand warmer I’ll be toasting!

I live in Minnesota, I bike to work year round and I ski. My heated gloves were just not cutting it. This is my first pair of mittens that I’ve owned since I was a kid but I needed something warmer. These are warmer on the lowest heat setting than my Fieldsheer heated gloves are on their highest setting. So far the battery life seems to be pretty good as I haven’t had to charge them other than the initial charge. The heat level is easy to read even with my colorblindness (my gloves I can only see 3 of the 4 differences in heat levels). My only complaint is it’s not usb charging but if the batteries continue to last a long time, that should work just fine.
