I wore Estee Lauder's Pleasures perfume for years, but when it was reformulated it became just a weak shadow of its former self as far as lasting and sillage. However, when combined with this oil it restores the perfume to its former glory. By itself the oil is lacking the amount of sweetness in the actual perfume and I don't really like it that much, but combined with the perfume it produces the familiar lovely scent and lasts a long time, with great sillage. I dab on the oil and then spray the perfume over it. I have also used this company's Cabotine oil with Cabotine perfume and got the same result. I will have to try more of their oils in combination with my favorite, but now weak, reformulated perfumes. Definitely worth the money for me. ... show more

This is a fine enough oil and fine enough scent. It does not match Pleasures original. Not alone. Not when combined with the current iteration of Pleasures eau de parfum. I feel confident in asserting this because I do have remnants of the original Pleasures. I so loved Pleasures and wore it for more than 25 years! If i could give a negative rating I would. Did not last long at all and it smelled like cooking oil wil a bit of alcohol in it.. the product broke me out and was just not a good buy. Threw it in trash ,both bottles

This oil is an great alternative to the real thing.. it smells nice and its light.I was skeptical at first because it looked watered down from other oils I have but I wasn't disappointed..I was shocked by the price $12 for 2oz but I guess is because it's a popular scent
