This is a nice dress. The material has a little stretch but is mostly made of what is called Oxford cotton (man's dress shirt) material. It is not see through. The dress falls just above the knee - and the measurements are accurate in the hips area. HOWEVER, the bust area of this dress is oversized. I had to use four safety pins to pin down the top folds, BUT - I was still cute. I recommend this item, but be prepared to with pins. I ordered a 3XL - My bust is a 42 D. I am 5'3 and weigh 240 pounds.

For reference I am 5'1 and about 135lb. I have 34DD boobs and a pretty decent booty. I ordered a small and while it fits - I wish I would had gotten a medium just for comfort. It is an amazing dress and I get so many compliments. I would order whatever size you usually get and not go off of the guide in the photos above.

Really CUTE dress! I get a ton of compliments when I step out in this. It has has just enough stretch to the fabric (5% spandex) and it fits like a dream - I ordered this Frida Kahlo one and the yellow plaid as well, and both are spectacular.

I’m 5’6” and 180ish… I purchased a large because I wasn’t sure how much elastic the dress would have. I’m not too heavy up top at all. 36C push-up or 36B regular… Wore a push-up since I had extra room. Other than that, it was perfect! See pics

First, the fabric is gorgeous. But, as you can see, manufacturer didn’t match the print in the back of the dress! Makes it look cheap. Also, the top is HUGE compared to the bottom. If I feel confident, I may sew darts in back to pull in the bust.

I bought this dress in Grey Blue, Peacock Blue, and Black. The blues were excellent. Immediately decided I’ll be keeping them. Even noticed that the bit of fabric at the underarm has an extra layer (interfacing probably but it’ll help with sweat on hot days). When I put on the black one though, I was surprised. It wasn’t made the same. While the blues aren’t perfectly constructed, the black was poorly constructed. Same size but it was tighter, especially in the shoulder area. Also there were bits of thread poking through the back seam and upon closer inspection of all three dresses, only the black dress had defects. Also no extra layer of fabric at the armpits. I’ll be returning the black, and keeping the blues.

I love the shape of this dress, the pattern is adorable, and I got lots of compliments. Only down side is it doesn't stretch, like at all. I'm 5'8" 135 lbs, and I ordered a small, which fits prefect in the chest (B cup) and waist, but I can't lift my arms very high. I'm willing to make other people do my hair, so I'm going to keep it, but if you have broad shoulders (like me) maybe order a size up.
