Really like the iGoevo phone holder, most of the mount is metal until you get to the phone holder. Phone holder is all plastic OR mostly plastic. Really like the side grips on the phone holder, has what I call rubber fingers... think this allows for more flex and grip. I mounted my phone then tried to shake my phone out, worked really well... only noticed movement of my phone if I turned the holder upside down. Not saying your phone can't pop out but trying to say it has a really good grip on it. What I don't like is the geared arms that you press in so it has a hold on the phone... I've had holders like this in the past and they work great until the gears give up. The rest of the holder seems robust... only concerned about the long term use of the holder due to the gear latching. Not saying it will not hold up, I'm hoping it does for years because I like it... just doubt it does because I've had holders like this before. I would recommend no doubt for my golf cart for sure as it's not used daily. OR not daily for me at least. ... show more

Second day on the course using this phone holder for my Samsung S23 Ultra. The phone fell out this phone "holder" diving on the cart path. Needless to say, this phone holder is costing me $1300 for a new phone. The product itself is sturdy, and affixes to the cart securely. The best way to improve your game is not fancy training aids; it is simply to watch your swing yourself and look to see the difference between when you hit it well and when you duffed it. The iGoevo Golf Cart Phone Holder holds my Samsung S21 Plus very securely and is easy to position on the cart to point at my tees without having to park the cart at any particular angle. I wanted to like this phone holder. It’s made really well and has features that I was looking for. However, the screw that holds the ball joint part comes loose after about 3 holes. Very frustrating. The screw that holds the actual phone holder to the golf cart is fine and stays on tight. But no matter how tightly I screw the other one, it shakes loose and the phone holder flops down and the phone drops out. It’s not like I’m driving through the woods or over rough terrain, just driving down the fairways and the ball joint doesn’t stay tight. This might work for a car or something else but not on a golf cart and certainly not for a full round of golf. I’ll stick to throwing my phone in the cupholders. I’d look elsewhere for a golf cart phone holder. ... show more

The screw clamp part and adjustable arm are both metal and gives me hope that it will be able to last a long time. It also gives me comfort that the part that attaches to the cart is so solid. The ratchet clamp to hold the phone is plastic, so that gives me some pause, but it ratchets down to my phone very tightly brand new.     • This has the nicest phone cradle I've seen yet

I ordered this because it looked like the phone cradle was very nice. I am not disappointed. After trying it on my phone I like it. However, the plastic structural members that extend sideways outward from the back of the cradle seem like they could break more easily than I would prefer. This will require being careful to not break it. Other than the phone cradle, nearly all other components are made of metal, including the short metal rod with balls on both ends. The quality of this seems very good, overall. Time will tell how long it will last. I might update this review later. ... show more
