Stretch is great and because there's pleats it covers a multitude of sins. I don't know about covering shape wear, but I think it probably would. If you have curves, this dress is for you! I also recommend pairing it with body jewelry like the long beads that cascade down the shoulders or front of your body because it is quite plain in a way. It needs embellishment. Dress was very comfortable and flattering especially for being pregnant and plus size. My only complaint was the fabric rolled up in the bust area. I read that as a complaint from many others and tried to prepare by purchasing extra strength fabric bond tape to keep it down where I wanted it. Unfortunately with how stretchy the dress was and being very busty the fabric tape didn’t hold very long so I kept having to pull it back down. I like the dress. It fits really nice. The stretch is perfect. The top is the issue. The area where is folds over the bust area is not sewed down so it will roll up. I pinned it down. Not the greatest solution. A better solution is to sew it down do it won’t roll up.

i bought this to wear for my baby shower as its comfy and super cute! only complaint is the straps twist as the fold over part of the dress around your bust doesnt stay put, so im probably gonna end up safety pinning it down so it doesnt roll up my chest

This was a perfect back up for my baby shower dress that no longer fit me! It was very true to size! The baby blue color is super pretty! It runs big so if your on a smaller side get the exact size you need it’s very stretchy as you can see and not see through! Definitely happy with my decision!
