I bought this to make things a little easier when I’m on the beach or creek bed. Easy to use, access, fairly rugged, and can hold a good amount gear. I like the rod holder this way I can take a couple of setups and still remain hands free. It can adjust in a few ways to carry it. Shoulder sling, back back, or front access/sling. It could use a little instructions on how each is to be connected. I’ll figure it out over time. That won’t change my mind about this product. I’d buy it again ... show more

Bought it so I'd have a way to store and transport my saltwater gear when I went to the Gulf to do some surf fishing. Overall good quality bag and did the job. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was on one of the pockets it opened from both sides so if you forgot to close the one side stuff would come out while opening the other side and digging around. Not a huge deal and more user error but a compartment really doesn't need to be accessed from both sides and it would just be easier if it were one zipper that went all the way around. ... show more

This can be worn as a sling pack or as a regular backpack the strap zips together or zips apart. This has three large pockets for fly boxes and tools. The only improvement I would make is a larger opening on the outermost pocket

There is nothing fancy about this pack for fishing. It's pretty small. For the price it's a decent day pack. Fits better as a backpack than a crossbody pack in my opinion. Nothing wrong with the pack its just a regular backpack.

These are really great fishing backpack (or frontpacks). Just make sure you get the size that fits your body and your needs. Both sizes are equally terrific packs with plenty of pockets, a rod holder and a water bottle holder.
