Based on the texture and the tassels i would say this would last a decent amount of time but the towel it’s self is on the thinner side compared to my real beach towels. We love this float! It is VERY sturdy in the water. It held my daughter and myself with no issues whatsoever (200lbs together). We do have it inflated pretty tight, so you’ll definitely want an air compressor because it’s huge. It’s also nice to have the shade or full sun. The top ties and it’s easy to take it on and off.
