I have always wanted an item made by Frye leather. Their bags and boots are very expensive. I thought that I would treat myself to a Frye wallet. I was so impressed when I first received it. It looked lovely. After one week the leather looked like I had used it for five years. There are so many scuff marks all over the wallet. It is also very heavy. I am retired and hardly go anywhere. All Frye products have a ver strong leather smell that smells great. This wallet has no smell and I'm very disappointed. I don't think it's the real deal. The Melissa Zip Around is longer than the Melissa continental wallet that I love. It was too close to the top of my cross body bag for my liking and I didn't like how my cards got caught on the zipper in the top row so, I returned it. It's pictured next to my 5 year old Cognac wallet. Leather maintenance is important with 100% oil dyed leather.
