    • Clunky redeem process makes it hard to even use
We got this gift card for my son to use on his Fortnite account. However, this gift card must be used on the Epic Games (the maker of Fortnite) website, which then puts the V-bucks onto the player's account. I've spent about an entire day's worth of time trying to get the card's value onto the correct account, and still have not achieved the end result. I'm currently about five or six emails deep with Epic Game's customer service (which has been very respectful and understanding). Do yourself a favor and either 1. outright purchase the items or "Battle Pass" on the account, or 2. Get that console's regular gift card. These two methods will ensure that get exactly what you want. So far, the $32 card has cost me: 1. The original price of the card ($32), 2. Because the outfits and "skins" are only up for sale for short periods of time, we had to spend another $32 to get what my son wanted -- the premiere stuff is not "giftable" (now we're up to $62), and 3. MY TIME. This should have been something where the card is redeemable on the console / platform directly. Instead, I've wasted at least six hours combing through the Epic Games website, watching videos, reading official articles in pursuit of getting the Epic Games system to allow us to redeem the card on the correct account. Let's put a $20/hour price tag on my time. That's $120 of effort to redeem a gift card. ($120+$32+$32=$184) So a $32 gift card has cost me almost $200. DO NOT BUY THIS. I mean this with every fiber of my being. This is the biggest scam that I’ve ever witnessed in my entire lifetime and I am honestly wondering how it is not illegal what they are doing here. When my son was typing in the code, it would multiply the letters on a single keystroke. This product is designed to cause folks to give up and lose their investment. it is also designed for population control. This is the definition of insanity. This is designed to cause the typical American to give in to their instant gratification triggers. This should be illegal. And yet, they will get away with it. It definitely works. Basically you go on the website on the back of the card. Make sure you are logged in your epic account on the website. Scratch off the b ack of the card to get your code. Don't forget to add the dashes with the code and you are all set. After you put it in pick where you want the vbucks to go on your account whether its your pc or a gaming console and it will go there. And thats it the vbucks will be in your account. ... show more

You cannot redeem these cards in the Fortnite game or add funds to your wallet in the Playstation store. You need to go to fortnite.com/vbuckscard and log into your Epic games account and redeem it there, which may be inconvenient if you do not remember how to log into your epic games account. If you want a simpler method I'd get a playstation store card (if Playstation is the platform you use. It is the one that I use) and add funds to your wallet so you can just buy the vbucks in game. I'm sure other platforms have an equivalent method. You would think that buying a VBUCKS card, which can ONLY be used in this game would be more convenient and you'd be able to redeem in game, since buying vbucks in game is possible, but not with these cards. Go figure. Bumped my rating down to a 3 because of the inconvenience. Would have given it a 1 but my son was happy when I eventually figured out how to log in. ... show more

    • Don't buy gift cards from EPIC GAMES!
Epic games makes these gift cards IMPOSSIBLE to use! Bought as a birthday gift for my kids friend. Friend thought we gave them a used gift card since they were unable to load it. So embarrassing! I ended up giving the friend cash instead and took the gift card back to see if I could figure out the problem since I knew it hadn't been used. It's so confusing to explain the issue but it is 100% caused by Epic games. It's not a Fortnite issue or a PS5 issue. We have been emailing back and forth with Epic (no phone number to call,, only email!) for 2 weeks trying to resolve the issue. The card has been loaded to our account but my son STILL CAN'T REDEEM IT! I will never purchase a gift card from Epic games again. Just give the kid cash instead! ... show more

    • couldn't get it to work with nintendo switch
Purchased as a Christmas gift. It clearly states it is usable with a nintendo switch. When I went to the website listed on the card it would not allow me to select my nintendo switch as the device I was playing on. I wound up selecting PC in the hopes of transferring it to my switch account but that didn't work and the v bucks are lost in limbo. I wound up purchasing the v bucks directly from the nintendo switch and will never make the mistake of purchasing a card again. ... show more

Worked Perfectly. Easy To Input To Redeem. Not sure about the negative reviews? You just always need a Microsoft Account like always when you have games and redeem gift cards! Kid loves Fortnite and loved the V-Bucks! By the way.... I wish I had all the $$$ I have spent on Fortnite V-Bucks these past 3 years!     • Unreadable code to activate gift card & no refund
If I could give this item no stars I would. I received this fortnite v-bucks with an unreadable code to activate the card. This card is useless. Contacted Amazon and was advised gift cards are non refundable! Amazon rep asked for a picture and I did send one to the Amazon rep. So far no money returned and no way to use the card. ... show more
