I was doing some fiberglass repair on the hull of my boat and got this cloth to reinforce the resin. They gave me lots to work with. I’ve worked with products like this before, and this is good quality, a nice tight weave. I need many years of use from my repairs, and this did a good job.

This is a grear stuff. It's easy to use. I used this to cover the top of a camper, easy to work with and cut to shape. The creases rolled out easily and it absorbed resin no problem. Recommend to buy.

If only I'd read all the reviews. This is the most god-awful fiberglass I have ever used. It won't lay down, left countless bubbles, and refused to soak up the epoxy. The last picture is before glassing with one coat of epoxy only. The other pictures speak for themselves. I have a lot of sanding to do........ ... show more

Installation/setup: Use to patch fiberglass items or to cover existing items with a fiberglass coating. It is usually used with a fiberglass epoxy (sold separately), soaking the cloth and being allowed to harden. Be sure to use this in a well ventilated area and use protective equipment. Long sleeves and gloves are also recommended. Final thoughts: I got this to coat some Halloween props and decorations with a weatherproof coating. It works well, I used an epoxy made for fiberglass and soaked patches of the cloth, making layers then letting the epoxy cure then sanding smooth. I like this and I’m glad I got it. ⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality. ⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend. ... show more

The size of this fiberglass cloth is quite generous, allowing me to have some leftovers for potential future projects. It's solid without being too stiff, which made the application process more manageable than I anticipated. Using it on the tub pool, it adhered well and seemed to provide a good seal, blending seamlessly with the rest of the area. The major plus points for me: The size. It's massive, meaning I got a lot for what I paid for. The texture and feel. It was easy to handle, which is saying something because I'm no pro at these things. It got the job done. Last month, I had a little accident with my RC plane and my neighbor's pool. Long story short, I needed something to patch up both the plane and a small section of the pool. So, I ordered this Fiberglass Cloth. So here's what went down: I got the cloth, and first things first, I noticed the material felt good to touch. Doesn't give you that cheap feeling, you know? As for the size, it's large enough that I had some leftovers even after my repairs, which is a plus in my book. Working on the RC plane was relatively straightforward. Cut, apply, wait... and voila, she's back in the air! The pool was a bit trickier, but with some patience, it's now holding water without any leaks. ... show more

    • WOVEN TOO THICK
Size: 12 Feet*50 Inches Style: 6oz
Glass is so thick-ly woven it would NOT soak up the Resin. Thus, the Glass would not stick to the wood, Resin ran off. Only trick I found was to resin the wood, lay glass on wet wood, then resin more on glass. Thats if your resin isn't too HOT and you have "TIME" for all that. I dunno if there is a Gauge # for GLASS Thickness--this stuff is a 10, like a T-Shirt. Other glass I've used is way more open weaved, and easy, say like a 5 ? ... show more
