Inside: 2 adult male ski boots, hefty pants and jacket, 2x balaclava, goggles, 2x pairs gloves, beanie. Everything but a helmet fits (and there's plenty of spots to strap the helmet on. It fits a lot, but doesn't hold shape when filled. The biggest issue is the mail pocket does not have enough material to fill the backpack (even before you put boots in the separate space). Because of this, you can't naturally fill the bag like you'd want to, and it ends up with a lot of dead space on the lower sides. The sinch straps are unnecessary because the tightest they go is just the size of the bag, so theyre always loose and get caught on stuff. Padded goggle area is perfect for a few sizes we tried. There's plenty of small pockets to organize, but it just doesn't feel satisfying to load up. If the main pocket material was bigger to let you fill around the boots, and if unnecessary extra straps were removed, this bag would be absolutely perfect. ... show more

This bag is nicer than expected, right off the bat I noticed the high craftsmanship of this bag. They loaded this bag with really smart choices. Nice pockets everywhere to keep items separated from your wet items. Venting, smart placement to make it easy access to the stuff used most frequently. From cell phone, keys, boots, jackets, water bottle, snacks, gloves, goggles or glasses. I absolutely love the soft bag for googles. The strap had a small pocket for easy access to cash. I love that every side of the bag has access, literally no wasted space on this bag. The zippers are of high quality along with all the bag seams. The zipper pulls are big n easy to grab even with big bulky gloves. They will definitely hold up to abuse. The bottom of bag has extra support rub pads with grip. The bag is very sexy to look at. The straps on the sides and the outer part of bag are perfect for strapping those skis, snowboard,hockey sticks, or even a fishing net onto. The bag is adjustable in all the right areas. The padding on the back is the most comfortable bag I have strapped to my back yet. All the buckles are high quality hard plastic. Only thing I will say is the bag comes packaged quite compressed and takes a bit of use to form out of packaging state. I purchased 4: black, 2 blue, and gray - the backpacks seem to be well-made. There are a ton of different pockets and I was easily able to fit the following in each one: jacket shell, jacket, snow pants, boots, helmet, goggles, gloves, beanie, wallet, and keys. We've even strapped skis and snowboards using the straps on the sides and back. I left off one star because the zippers on 2 of the 4 are very difficult to use on some of the pockets. I was able to lube them up but one zipper is very stubborn. I don't know if that's a manufacturing issue or not. ... show more

    • I'm not a snow boarder, but I'm using this for Fly Fishing!
To be honest, I'm not a skier or snowboarder, but I am an avid fly fisher and this pack is perfect for that purpose. It fits all of my fly fishing gear to include: wading boots, waders, wading staff, fish net, rod, reel, fly boxes, fly equipment, sunglasses, dry clothes, water bottle, and lunch! The duel use changing mat is good for snow boarders and for fly fisher-people, changing out of wet boots, while staying off of the ground. The pack also comes with these very clever vents so that wet boots and waders can dry while still inside. I also like the separation of compartments where you can have your wet boots and waders not get anything wet that's in the top compartment. Comfortable to wear for a long hike up to my favorite lake or stream. It has so many places to store and organize gear and has plenty enough room for more. I highly recommend this pack. ... show more

    • Durable and well designed, but too small
I'm not sure the bag i received is actually 70L. I know they also sell a 60L bag and am wondering if this is the same bag just advertised at 70L. It carries very well because it has a wonderfully padded back and straps, and the location of the boots make the weight balance nicely. The fabric is durable. The boot compartment seems like it will be easy to clean when it gets muddy/wet. The various compartments are nice, however the zippers are hard to open even with a layer of soap, but hopefully that gets better with time. My main issue other than the zippers is that it is too small for all my daughters gear to fit internally. She's a U14 racer. ... show more

As the title says, this is not a 70L bag. Compare the dimensions t to any other name brand ski bag on the market, the actual size is about 50L. I wear a 26.5 (size 8.5) men's boot, they fit in the boot compartment with 1/2" to spare. Overall it fits a good amount of gear and a decent value for weekend ski trips. I was able to pack my helmet, two pairs of goggles, boots, mittens, face masks, ski pants, a spare mid-layer and a water bottle. Bag was comfortable on my back and balanced well. Material seem sturdy enough. Only other downside is the zippers like to catch and need a little encouragement, they're definitely not as smooth as the oversized zippers Dakine and other brands use. ... show more
