I saw the comment instructing on soaking the tube in warm water. I soaked my tube and hot water and it combined the solution and it was perfect. I didn’t have to repeat it at all. It’s been combined since.

With the weather changing constantly my skin was getting dry and rough, this helped overnight to hydrate my skin and soothe it. The quality is amazing. It does not have any smell to it. I have really sensitive skin to most products this did not cause any irritation. Very satisfied!

    • Worst Amazon cosmetic purchase I ever made: burned my face

I saw a YT video and she said this is a dupe for La Mer so I had to buy it. A watery substance began flowing out as soon as I opened it. I remembered what some reviewers said and capped it and shook and tested it and shook some more-it took quite a while to get it to be a lotion. I put it on my face and immediately felt burning. Normally I love to have something sting but this was so bad, my whole face turned bright red. My husband was right next to me and freaked out at what he saw. I was trying to wait for it to calm down. It got so painful so quickly, I had to wash it off and I had actual burns on my skin. I feel as though this may have been adulterated in some way. I really wondered if someone used half the tube and sent it back after adding some horrible fluid to fill the tube. NO ONE would ever use this if everybody had this experience. In fact, they'd be sued. I really wanted to try it, due to the La Mer dupe thing, so I went to Ulta and bought some. I noticed expiration dates. I got one dated 2025 and tried it. A little fluid came out at first, I shook it, applied it and nothing happened. It felt kind of heavy. I only used it once. I think it may be too heavy for my oily skin. But then I looked at my Amazon tube and the expiration date and it is 2025. Same as the Ulta one. I do not know what was wrong with my tube but that is what happened to me and I'm pretty upset about it. The burns stayed for several days. If you hear a liquidy sound, find a container big enough for this tube, and microwave it for 1.5-2 mins. Put this product in, let it absorb the heat, and give this tube a little massage here and there. The separation is due to low temperature, apparently they once underwent a period of time when the temperature was low enough that the oil solidified. Does take long at all, and this product is far from its expiration date. 🫡 ... show more

This product is for those with dry, damaged skin that’s looking to repair it just prevent. It did as most reviews mention, separate when I opened it. The placing in warm/hot water trick did work and I only did it once and the product was not watery again. I use this as my last layer of skincare at night because I have a damaged skin barrier. It acts like a thick protective layer to heal broken and damaged skin. It’s great for my sensitive skin and the bottle lasted a month with using twice daily. ... show more

Updated review 02/29/24: I'm so glad I didn't return this because the thermal spring water was separated from the cream. This is my favorite moisturizer. Once you mix it well a few times, kneading the tube well with your fingers, it stays beautifully creamy. I've put it on subscribe and save. Don't give up on it. It's worth it! I love their eczema line too, but my poor eczema skin likes this moisturizer best. *Updated Review: Half the tube emptied out, a bunch of blue liquid. I was going to return it, but my facial eczema hurt so much. My eyelids were red, scaley, swollen. In desperation, I soaked the tube in hot water and kneaded it a lot. Let it cool, and then it was a nice cream! THICK, because most of the spring water was lost, but it really helped calm down my skin. I'm buying their eczema line and hoping to heal my skin enough to go out in public and not be embarrassed of looking like a leper. Before I put this on my eyelids, they were scaly and rough. That was healed right away. So it was worth it to keep and use my compromised half-tube. I would give it 4 1/2 stars if I hadn't lost half the tube after opening it. Original Review: I should've believed the reviews about half the product containing blue liquid. I shook it. Kneaded it. This product was recommended to me by my dermatologist, I use it all the time and would recommend it. But what I buy at the clinic is very different from the product I and my daughter received in this Amazon order. I ordered two tubes, one for her and one for me in smaller amounts than what I normally buy. One was for her to try and one was for me for travel. I will never order this product through Amazon again. When I opened the tube, immediately water flowed out of the container. As I use it I have to shake the water off and out of it first before the cream comes out. The cream is not the same consistency of the cream that I buy at the clinic. My daughter gave the one I had sent her back to me because of this same issue, she's uncomfortable using it and she thinks there is something wrong with the product. I think so too. Unfortunately I have missed the window to return the product. So I leave this message instead. As I said, I have been buying this same product at a dermatology clinic. The cream that I buy through them is thicker and does not contain water that pours out of it when you open it. Could this be a result of settling or is the water is being added as a filler? I don't know. What I do know is it definitely does not seem to be the same product that I normally use. ... show more
