Okay a longg time ago (little more than 10 years) my sister had this and it smelt absolutely rancid like cheese. We were so traumatized by the stench alone it put us off of this product for a long time. Recently I needed setting spray and this was one of the cheapest I could find with a decent amount of product so I decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I gave it another cha cue and they reformulated because this is amazing! Makes my makeup last all day and melts my powder products into my skin. Eliminating that overly dry powdery look while also keeping me matte. Most importantly there’s no funky smell!! I’ve tried the matte one and didn’t notice a difference. As well as the $10 micro mists but I honestly prefer this one. I like the mister nozzle as well. It allows me to fully saturate my face. I thought setting sprays were just another one of those products marketed to make you think you need it. But in this case, I found out I was wrong. It really does help my makeup stay longer, particularly powder eyeshadows. I don't wear a lot of makeup, some concealer, blush, and some eyeshadow on some days. Put your mascara on AFTER you use the spray, or you may find it makes it run a bit. Also important: find a spray that is right for your skin type: if you have dry skin, do not get formulas with alcohol in them. Too drying! ... show more
