  • Inexpensive designer sunglasses live up to their name
Color: Silver Frame Mirror Lens
The sunglasses comes shipped in a black rectangular box with the name Duco Designer Glasses on the top, Original Design Top Quality Your Duco! on the side and several stick like figures representing different activities in which it would be appropriate to wear the sunglasses. These include kayaking, hiking, horse back riding, fishing and driving. Inside the box, the sunglasses were packaged nicely along with the hard case, a soft case, a mini tool, and a cleaning cloth. The hard case has a clam or banana like shape, with a zipper that opens and closes it and a caribiner. The hard case has a Duco tag stitched into the zipper lining on the outside. The soft case is simply a black satin like cloth bag with a draw string that cinches the bag closed. Duco Designer Glasses in gold is written on the bottom of the bag. The mini tool is a cylindrical keychain that when unscrewed, one end has a tiny phillips head screwdriver and the other end has a tiny flat screwdriver. These screwdrivers are small enough to repair or tighten screws in glasses. It looks well made and I have already used it on my prescription glasses to tighten them. The sunglasses them self are lightweight but appear to be well made. The lenses are gray with a mirror finish that reflects whatever objects are in front of it. The lenses are rimless with a nosepiece connecting the two lenses The nose piece has two nubs that are made of a soft feel rubber. The sunglasses are the wrap around style that snugly fit around your face. The frame of the glasses are silver in color and appear to be made of a light weight aluminum or other light metal. The arms have a hinge that allow them to be bent backwards without breaking. The arms also have Duco printed on each of them and a soft rubber at the ends. Although I have a smaller head ( 7 1/4 size for fitted caps), I didn't need to adjust or change the glasses in anyway to make them fit. Out of the box, they fit comfortably. I was recently fitted for contacts and I have been anxiously waiting to wear sunglasses for quite sometime. I wanted a pair that fit snugly on my face without being too heavy. I wanted a pair that, once put on, you could forget that you're wearing them. The Duco sunglasses almost make that happen. These are my first sunglasses that have polarized lenses. When wearing these sunglasses, during the day, the glare and brightness is cut down while also things look clear and vivid in color. They also cut down on eye strain. Looking at LCD screens with the glasses on don't make much of a difference. The colors look strange sometimes, almost like 3D, it's hard to explain. But it isn't a big deal. Long story short, the sunglasses appear to be well made, feel light, and the lenses cut down on glare and eye strain. The extras are a bonus and were a pleasant surprise. In addition, the company that produced the sunglasses gives you a coupon for another purchase. It's rare when a company goes out of it's way to make a singular and lasting impression on their customers, like Duco has done with these sunglasses. Although the sunglasses were at an affordable price point, the quality of the materials and the extras included would suggest that these glasses would be much more expensive. I will edit my review after my camping trip in August because I will put the sunglasses through it's paces. It'll be a long drive and also I will be camping and hiking so they will get a lot of use. Initial impressions are nothing but positive. ... show more

  • Great sunglasses
Color: A Gunmetal Frame Gray Lens
Great price, very stylish and comfortable. Polarized. The glasses hold up well too. I lose sun glasses often and prefer to lose 20 some dollars over 200 any day.

  • Nice sunglasses for the price
Color: A Black Frame Gray Lens
I don't write many reviews, so this should tell you something. I'm extremely picky about sunglasses and if they fit or not. Also price is a major factor. I have a large head, someone here said they did as well. So size wise they fit pretty well. If they were a little larger then that would be a plus. Frame is actually really nice. It's actually metal compared to the cheap plastic ones. Lenses are nice and clear. They are polarized. I don't know if they are scratch resistant or not. I'll have to do an update one of these days if I happen to drop them. Added perk to the sunglasses is they come with a nice heavy duty case, tool for the screws and a cleaning cloth. Price for these glasses are actually a good value for your dollar. I've bought many sunglasses for 5 dollars less to one's that are 100+ than what I bought these for and they don't last a week. Let alone a day. So definitely worth the value. All in all I feel as if they are worth it. If they fit my head decently then they will fit yours with out a doubt. I'll stick with a 4 star until I accidentally drop them and see if they are scratch resistant. If they happen to pass that test then a 4.5 star rating will be owed. If the frame was a little bit wider then I would have bumped it to 5 stars. ... show more

  • Pleasantly surprised
Color: A Gunmetal Frame Gray Lens
I hadn’t heard of the Duco brand before, but am happy with my purchase. I needed a new pair of sun glasses for driving, and decided to buy a pair. The glasses are comfortable and felt sturdy. They also came with a nice carry case and cloth to clean them with. I think the value was great and I’d consider buying another pair again. ... show more

  • At last, after trying on a couple dozen glasses, DUCO's are it!
Color: Brown Frame Brown Lens
Whether the sport, or full frame designer make, Duco glasses fit and style are the best sunglasses for me. I have a rather large angular face, and I have ordered and mostly returned a couple dozen pairs. Amazon, forgive me. Glasses are a very personal choice for style, and fit can be vexing online. God, I have tried on so many choices, and kept a couple dozen. There are glasses I would have returned, but alas, I could not find the box they came in. Never, never, order a couple dozen pairs when you have felines that assume they have new toys. I now own a 1/2 dozen I will never wear. I have learned another life lesson, after my first pair of eyeglasses I purchased on the island of Capri. When I could have waited until I returned to my residence in Paris. Capri, is like being trapped on a larger Rodeo Drive. I managed to purchase my first prescription glasses for over a grand. Of course, my insurance would not cover them. When purchasing your first glasses, bring a trusted friend, lest you will agree to everything a lovely salesperson will implore you chose. I was suckered into the same when I purchased a BMW Z4, for my mother. Oh well. I will take photos of my sunglasses in a couple of days, so you may judge. Both pair are brown frames with brown plastic lenses. This year I have been stuck at my home in Florida, praying that I will not be imprisoned for the summer, which should begin within two weeks. Heavy glasses, like my Italian eyeglasses, are exhausting within a few hours. The Duco's, each coming with a cleaning cloth and attractive molded cases are light weight, and held firm with spring arms. I am thankful for plastic lenses, as I am writing with my tri-level, color adjusting, multi-intensity eyeglasses. Whose eyepads are digging into my nose. The Duco's both have pads, but do not feel as if they belonged in a gym, with weights on each end. They also do not leave imprints on your face. You can save that area for your face mask. ☆ During our Covid-19 nightmare, heavy glasses are painful where mask ties rub around your ears. The Duco's are in no way painful, as they are spring loaded, and do not wrap around the ear. The two pair are quite similar, although the designer pair have a full metal frame, and what looks like a far better set of springs on the arms. The metal on the designer pair feels more substantial. I can not say why. For a few dollars more, (both pair are brown frames with brown lenses) the designer pair seem more substantial, better made, and appear that they will last longer. Each are smartly designed, (in Italy) and for the price, I have every color for apparel. As my mother has passed, and left me her Aston Martin convertible, I had to sport James Bond glasses, Italian styles, and perhaps something out of 'A Clockwork Orange". I have tried SO many glasses, and without my high end stores open, I have tried almost everything, though Amazon. I am saddened to use the free returns, and you really realize how many glasses you try before you choose. But these are very different days, and I have purchased at least a dozen. The Duco's, are the largest of my collection, and the least expensive. Very happy with Duco, and the compliments just keep coming. I WILL post photos in next couple days. Great buy! I will try to answer any questions you may have. I have been unhappy with some companies that do not post important sizing. How could you know if the product fits? I do not know if they are truthful about eye protection. Any company. There should be a law stating the true protection of their products. My older eyes would like to know! ... show more
