I take my dogs for a walk every day. They prefer walking along trails and grassy areas…the smells are better than going along sidewalks 😊 I normally wear a pair of pretty expensive, gray, waterproof trail runners; waterproof shoes are typically needed due to the amount of rain we typically get in Florida. However, I prefer wearing white sneakers over any other color. But my white sneakers are the classic, casual, streetwear sneakers from a well-known German footwear manufacturer. And they don’t provide good traction on grass and trails. But I didn’t really want to spend a lot of $$$$ on another pair of dog-walking shoes. So I’ve been keeping my eyes open for a good, inexpensive pair of white leather sneakers that I could wear when walking my dogs (when full waterproof isn’t needed). I came across this brand that I wasn’t familiar with, and this particular soccer shoe. Seemed like this could be exactly what I need for a pair of white dog-walking sneakers. Observations after wearing over a 2-week period: *IMO, it’s a good-looking, white sneaker. *Soft, comfortable leather. *Narrow, probably not a good fit for anyone who normally wears a wide shoe. *Insole has a soft mushy feel. Overcome this by putting in your own insoles or orthotics. *No arch support from insole or the EVA midsole. Overcome this by putting in your own insoles or orthotics. [Note: my insoles have a carbon fiber base for added support.] *Insole is not designed to be removable…but it can be removed with some minimal effort (see attached picture). *Appears to be a zero-drop shoe [toe box and heel are at the same height], just like the casual, streetwear sneakers from a well-known German footwear manufacturer. Athletic shoes typically have at least a 3-4mm drop and can have up to 7-8mm drop [where the toe box is lower than the heel]. This is neither positive or negative, just information to know before getting these. *Tongue is thin, doesn’t offer any padding between your foot and the laces. Overcome this by wearing socks that are thick-enough for your desired level of comfort. *Tongue feels a bit uncomfortable when rubbing against skin (when wearing without socks or with no-show socks). Overcome this by wearing socks that are high-enough to cover the tongue. *Runs a bit small/tight. Reviews of other styles of Dream Pairs shoes often said to size-up 1/2 size. I got a 1/2 size larger than my usual size and it fits well. *Tread provides good traction on grass and trails when walking. While no experience running and cutting on grass and trails, I suspect these Dream Pairs will offer traction just as good as walking. ... show more

    • Comfortable and retains shape well

This athletic shoes are pretty comfortable to wear all day around. The black color and the flat soul is very easy to pair with and keeps the feet comfort paramount which is very important given the playtime and the casual day-to-day use. This should itself has retained its shape even after a few games and roughly using them. They have also been pretty easy to clean after having use them and muddy weather. 11 fit me like a glove. They are a little flimsy but for the casuals soccer goal keeper I play with my coworkers is good. The shoes are conformable and well built, so far I've only wear then once, let see what the time say. Although the shoe is nice looking, they are thin on the top and not protective of the top of your foot. Too much like a thin sneaker as to a turf cleat. Not comfortable esp when kicking a soccer ball.
