Worked great for a while then the hanger broke off when I tried to mount it on my drum. I also just don't like how the front pockets look. Edit: Donner contacted me and sent me a new one their customer service is very good. I actually really like this stick bag now. I left my band not too long ago so I haven't gotten any field practice with it. I did hang it on the side of my drum for a week with no breakage. Donner Direct has great customer support 10/10 would recommend again. Edit: July 23, 2023 I wanted to add one more update when I reviewed this drum bag I didn't get a chance to actually use it in a gig. Well I got a gig and let me just say this is hands down one of the best drum bags I've ever used. The front packet fits all basic things that I need. Inside they have front pockets that are used for more sticks but I use that for a pen/pencil. I can't recommend this bag enough I love this thing. ... show more

    • Perfect extra stick holder for downsized drum kits.

Normally I use a stick bag that attaches to the tension rods of a floor tom. However I often "play lite" for various reasons, so about 30% of the time, I don't use a floor tom. On those gigs having the ability to access brushes, mallets, or spare drumsticks,becomes an annoyance. .I have found other stick holders that clamp to stands to be bulky and awkward. The Donner stick holder is a perfect solution for me. Plenty big enough for the tools i need - a spare set of sticks (or 2), a pair of mallets, pair of brushes and perhaps a specialty pair of rods, or whip sticks. It's unobtrusive, almost elegant, easy to set up, very compact in my hardware bag, and the price was very reasonable.. It's, as I say, the perfect solution for me. ... show more

Good drum stick bag. Not sure if it stands up to wear and tear yet as I just received it. We shall see. But it seems sturdy and well made. Good room for sticks and a variety of them. I'd prefer that the outer pocket be a zipper instead of velcro as I know there's limited time for the velcro before it gives way. But that's really all I see that I'd complain about. I purchased this drumstick bag for my son and he absolutely loves it. I love it because it keeps all of his drumsticks from always laying on the floor. It also has extra pockets for different things, so he loves that. It can be hung up for safe keeping as well as easy to carry. It's not too big for him at all. I gifted this item for my significant other as a birthday gift accessory to go with the Alessis Nitro Mesh electronic drum kit. It's almost perfect! There's not too much to say about it, it holds your drum sticks and seems sturdy enough when attached to the drum kit. The only issue is that it doesn't quite fit any of the rack rods or cymbal arms on the Alessis Nitro Mesh. Not the fault of the product, apparently Alessis decided to use cymbal arms that were not standard size. I can't say much on how many drum sticks it holds considering we only have 1 pair right now. Overall still works as intended for my use by keeping the sticks in one place it can call home. ... show more

Given how relatively inexpensive this is, I was very pleasantly surprised at its quality. I was slightly concerned whether it would attach easily to my electronic drum kit (V-Drums), but I found that it attaches quite easily in a variety of convenient spots. The bag is sturdy and keeps its shape well too. I rarely write reviews, especially for a small item like this, but it's nice to find a quality item like this at such a reasonable price. This seems to be one of the best drum accessory bags available on Amazon, when you factor in price vs. overall item capacity (if you own more drumsticks than this can hold, you're too eclectic), quality and strength of materials, and ease of opening/closing/accessing at every use. Being large and flat makes it easier to transport with the drum kit in a smaller vehicle, and it holds little tools so they don't get lost when they are needed. Hook is neat, too. ... show more
