This is a nice slipper, but the size does run small. I took the advice from several of the other reviews on this point and although my husband wears a size 10, I ordered a size 11. Good thing because even the size 11 was super tight. They have since loosened up a bit with wear, but are still a snug fit. I suspect that a size 12 would have been a better choice but he doesn't want to send them back so said he will live with them as is. ... show more

Listening to advice, since I usually wear a size 13 (wide) I went up to a size 14. It was only available in regular width. They fit me fine. I purchased these particular slippers due to the high back design. It is fairly rigid back so I don't think my feet would unintentionally slip out. They are cushiony, light weight, and comfortable. They seem well made and are moderately priced. They have an apparently durable sole for sale indoor and outdoor use. I would recommend. Durability seems like it will be ok. Was disappointed that they were at least one size too small. Great quality though. I had to return them. Maybe they have an inconsistent size issue as a lot of people say they fit well. But I ordered size 11 and what they shipped were size 10 marked as an 11. Couldn't even get the left foot into the slipper. Afraid to order the size 12 as it may be way to big! These are hard to find in the area where I live, but will have to drive 40 miles to get the correct fit, I guess. ... show more

    • Interesting, almost great but fell short

I am looking for a replacement for Tarmac slippers, which I have not been able to find lately so this was one of three pairs I ordered. Toes, wide sectiin of the foot, and heel all fit great. Good padding makes for a comfortable step, there are a ton of good points to make. So why am I not giving it five stars you may ask? The first problem is sole of the slippers. Slipper is meant to indicate that they go on and off easily, not a lack of traction. I mean you get plenty of grip on tiles, not so much on carpet or hardwood, which is most of my house. So I took one star off due to lack of traction. The second star is because of the ankle section of the slipper. The picture really underplays how high that part goes, it really rubs against the tendons on the back of your leg, not I said leg not foot. Heightwise with the size 13 it is about even with the top of the ball of my ankle, and that is like an inch too high for me. Honestly if it was lower on the heel section and had even just a bit more traction I would go five stars, but based on uncomfortable legs and future half asleep face plants I am going to leave it at three. ... show more

I got the size 11 and found it to be bigger than expected, but I was able to return them and get a size 10. I wear a 10 1/2 shoe, so those were a little tight. I gave them a few weeks to conform and now they about perfect. They are very warm and have a good sole. I work from home and wear these more than I wear shoes, so I give slippers a good work out. I also wear then to go to the mailbox and on the patio. They are a little slippery on ice, but what do you expect? I would buy these again if they last a year or more. ... show more

Sadly, I have to give a poor rating here. I purchased these slippers mid Aug, now 90 days later, I am ordering a new pair from a different company. I expected something made by Dockers, to last longer that 90 days. What failed, the cushioned soles turned thin as paper after wearing for only 90 days. I’m 6/1 @ 160lbs, no way these should have lasted as long as a pair from a dollar store. Save money, don’t buy these. ... show more
