No issues so far. My daughter loves it and frequently sleeps on the couch as a futon, which she can raise/lower herself. It's about as hard as a board but my daughter hasn't noticed at all. Best buy! This is so perfect for age 3-13 maybe even older teens if they are small we put it together in about 15 minutes 5 of that was letting my 6 year old help. We had a girls night sleepover for my daughter her friend Ellen who is a big 6 year old slept on this it folds flat which is great for sleepovers the girls both sat and watched movies on here with plenty of room for 2 maybe a third in the younger age range very sturdy and well made if put together correctly the black material behind the couch back will probably get ripped it's a great spot for throwing pillows and maybe a blanket for when you want to use it as a bed but the kids stood on it and it's a stretched thin black mating and I heard it tear but no biggie it's not Visible ever. ... show more

Upon receiving this item, I was very pleased with the way it looked and the ease of putting it together. Unfortunately, one side of the couch does not lock into the upright position. We decided to buy this baby sized futon rather than get a step stool or bench for my 3yo’s new big bed. No regrets. He loves it. It’s the perfect size for not only the function but for the placement. It’s a good width for the foot of a full sized bed. And it’s short enough to help him get up on the platformed bed easily. It’s very easy to assemble. Just screw in the legs and you’re done. So when I purchase this the size of dimensions were not for the size of a toddler this was originally supposed to be a large normal human size futon but when I received it it said children’s futon … this is maybe 7 inches off the ground it is about half the size of a full size mattress it is very small very uncomfortable not sturdy whatsoever do you not buy this and it is not purple it is pink ... show more

First of all, I want to say that the futon color is great. It's bright and the entire thing has a sturdy enough feel that my 200 pounds could sit on it with my daughter. That being said: This thing is small. I know it's my fault. The dimensions are given in the description. But for anyone that has trouble visualizing the size of this based just on the measurements, I warn you it is very small. It sits so low to the ground that even my 9-year old's knees are sticking up when they sit on it. And as for it being a functional futon...maybe for a toddler. But the overall size is far to small for my children to sleep or nap on it. Speaking of sleeping, this is where my issues stop being the fault of my inattention. It is not soft either. Think of the firmest mattress you've ever sat upon. There is essentially no give at all. Beyond that I have only a minor annoyance, in that it is more difficult than it should be to raise or recline the back, to the point that I have to take everything off before I can lower the back. My desire when purchasing this was to use it as a fully-function futon. My daughter wanted one so that she could sit to watch TV or play, but also sleep on it. She like the novelty. Unfortunately, this doesn't serve for that purpose, for the reasons described above. However, it still merits 3-stars, as the overall quality is good, it's aesthetically pleasing, and the largest issue I have is mostly the fault of my own inattention. ... show more

My 8 year old daughter LOVES her little futon! It’s definitely sized more for playing or a very young child, but it matches her room perfectly and fit just right in the small space under her window. This is the cutest little futon ever. Easy set up. Quick delivery. Easy to conversion to bed. I bought the blue one and can already picture my boys hanging out on it (once the baby can sit up on his own). It is shorter than I expected but that makes it perfect size for kids.
