  • Basic all-temp alpine wax
Although I love the smell of hot wax, smells like winter, the scent of this wax is also very pleasant. Not purchased for the scent alone because it is great all temp alpine wax. This is my second batch.

  • Good wax
I use this wax all season at Mammoth and it works well for me. Also something of a bargain.

  • Works great, just as well as Hertel Hot Sauce but at a much lower price/gram.
For at least a decade I've been buying 340-gram bricks of Hertel Hot Sauce to hot-wax skis on warm spring ski-days. (I'm a Tahoe/Palisades season pass 40+ day/year skier.) I wax only in the springtime so that I don't stick on the flats (on the way back to the chairlift.) But this spring (April 2023) when I went to buy more Hot Sauce, the price had more than doubled. So I gambled on buying a 480-gram brick of Demon Hyperwax, which was less than half the price per gram. On one warm spring day (~55-degree F high) I used Hot Sauce, and on the next similarly warm spring day I used Hyperwax. I could not tell the difference in performance all day long (from frozen morning spring conditions to afternoon mashed potato conditions). That same weekend, as a test, my son put Hot Sauce on one ski and Hyperwax on the other ski. He could not tell the difference in performance. The Demon Hyperwax easily lasted all day (9AM-4PM, ~60k vertical feet) and kept me from sticking on the flats. Both waxes seem to have identical melting points and are equally easy to apply. I only ever wax in the springtime (to prevent sticking on the flats) so I can't speak to cold-temperature performance. But I am very happy that I bought Demon Hyperwax for spring-skiing. ... show more

  • Durable
This is only the second hot wax I've used. It seems a lot more durable than my previous brand. I skied 105k vertical feet across 102 miles in 4 days at Whistler on a dude ski trip and the wax held up well. Only around the edges of the skis that are directly under foot was the wax starting to wear off. My wife and I have skied frozen runs to warm soft runs at the resort and have skied dream powder to breakable crust that grabs your edges and makes it hard to turn in the backcountry and have yet to feel like our bases were sticking to the snow. No issues with this wax and skins either. The skins stick to the ski and rip off like they should. I will be sticking with this brand of wax. I like its durability and pleasant mild smell. ... show more

  • Used from 35 to minus 20
I haven't found any problems with it at any temp. It is a good deal and does the job. And I'm kinda lazy when it comes to scraping if its gonna be icy. I'm more big mtn freeski so works for me

  • Worth It
This wax works great. My skis were gliding after coating them with this wax. And it smells great too. Great for winterizing skis that stay in a closet. I will order this again when I run out.

  • Best ski wax so far
Very consistent in all temperatures. I have used several all season waxes and the wife and I like this the best. Easy to apply, scrape, and brush. Lasts at least three ski trips usually. I had edges done at a ski tune place recently, and their belt wax was far inferior to Demon Hyper wax. We ski about 30 times a year, 60+ YOA. The wax has very little scent compared to others. The large block will last at least a couple of seasons, perhaps more. ... show more
