They were instantly comfortable and walked on a variety of surfaces; cobblestones, uneven ground, crushed rock, dirt, carpet, wood floors. Wore them on sunny days, drizzle rain, real rain and cold days. My feet were happy at the end of each day. Bonus to me is the thick sole and slight heel giving my 5' frame a little height. There is a strap that is either decorative or worn around heel back. The shoes stay on just fine without using the heel strap and I like the appearance of the buckle on the top of the shoe. Versatile classic clog. I usually wear 39's and ended up exchanging for 38. Was a bit big even with socks. Bought it for jeans and they are perfect. High enough on the foot that the cliff stays on without effort. Another great shoe from Dansko!

I loved these shoes and wanted to keep them but had to return them. The ruby red ones are a beautiful deep red wine color. However, I'm a solid size 6 so I ordered the 5.5-6, but it was too large. If they had a size smaller I would buy it, but they don't offer a 5-5.5. The shoes were packed very well and arrived without damage. The seller did a good job in that regard.     • Weird Fit, Top Too Long
Size: 8.5-9 Color: Tan Burnished
Danskos seem to be all over the place with sizing these days. In a traditional Dansko and Sanita rocker bottom clog, I have always been a 39 (since I started wearing them in the early 2000s); however, this mule was huge. I think it may be also that the top comes up too high (i.e., top is too long), so foot is pushed farther back. I had like two inches in the front. Bizarre fit. I sent them back. In the flats (ballet and Mary Jane styles), I am a 38. I am a 38 in the new Brenna rocker bottom, but a 39 in the Sam. I used to need the wide fit in Danskos, but the regular seems fine now. Also weird to me. Highly recommend you look at the Brenna. It is similar to the professional style clog, but is more comfortable, cute, and lightweight to me. I will continue wearing my professional ones, though, of course. Nice to have a new style and option. ... show more
