The cards of map possibilities help, either as a guide to making bigger maps, or as a snapshot for your players to look at. The other cards have other useful things like conditions on them. It's especially handy for your newer DM's!

This was a disappointing addition to my collection, I was expecting something on par with the Wilderness Kit, but it doesn't have anything new other than the geomorph dungeon tiles which are of limited use in most games...the other cards in the set have been released a few times already in the Wilderness Kit and the Essentials Kit if not more. The DM screen is pretty much the same as the rest, so it's a better use of money to buy the other options rather than this one. ... show more

WotC has been working hard on accesories lately, and you can see they has been paying attention to details. This GM Screen is gorgeous, with beautiful artwork, and mostly, a lot of useful tables inside for any GM that wants to run a Dungeon delving. This DM Screen comes also with a nice folder to protect your screen and some nice cards. A set of cards for conditions, another set for Initiative and some cool cards with Geomorphs that are great to build a Dungeon on the fly. ... show more

Art is great focusing more on a darker themed DM screen. It's a good contrast to the Wilderness Kit DM screen I also purchased. Info on the back adds quick references such as improvising damage such as from traps and monster motivations. It still includes other reference info standard on other DM screens such as Food, Drink, and Lodging or Cover and DC's but this has a focus on Dungeons which may come in handy in your sessions. ... show more
