This tool is a must have for paper crafters! I love it! It sets both 1/8 and 3/16 eyelets. This one tool punches the hole and then sets the eyelet. It is easy to use but I advise that you read the instructions in order to understand and use the appropriate settings. The downside - the case. Making award ribbons for sports team. When trying to hole punch through three layers (satin ribbon, bond paper, satin ribbon) the same portion of the 3/8 punch continuously left the fabric attached. I went back with a tiny pair of very sharp embroidery scissors and cut the remaining/frayed portion off. Not a big deal if you’re only doing a few pieces, but I was doing 120 ribbons and every one of them did the same thing. Tried it with just the paper and one layer of ribbon, and it was worse. Tried it with just one layer of ribbon and worse still. Using the smaller 1/8 hole punch resulted in same. So I don’t recommend this set if you want to use on fabric. Having said that, the eyelet squeeze portion of the tool worked well with the eyelets that were included. Put together the three layers with ease. However, I also purchased additional gold eyelets separately (Fiskars) and the necks of those were not long enough to easily combine all three layers. (They had to be perfectly flat and pushed onto the eyelet neck for the metal to not miss the top layer.) But that’s no fault of this tool or the accompanying items. In fact, it’s a compliment for the included 3/8 eyelets. ... show more
