This was a good purchase, I got it without the brown robe. I got a lot of compliments as I have long hair and a beard and I am told I look like Qui-Gon Jinn in the costume. It's a bit finicky to get on due the the fact the top is 4 pieces, the base shirt, the two lengths of fabric that drape over the shoulder and a fabric sash that velcros around the back. I'd probably recommend a safety pin under the shoulder fabrics to hold them in place as sitting down in costume makes them slip out of position. The belt is velcro which takes away a bit from the look in my opinion but it holds well, even with my lightsaber clipped on. The fabric is on the thinner side so it isn't the warmest costume in the world, but wearing a t-shirt and gym shorts underneath kept me warm enough on Halloween. I suspect with a robe you'd be pretty warm. The only grip I have with this is that the pants seem like they could rip pretty easily if stretched the wrong way, like kneeling down or something along that range of motion. ... show more

Wore this to a comic con, was absolutely perfect. Just know it's a fairly complex costume with overlapping pieces on top. I ended up stitching the over the shoulder pieces to top of the main shirts shoulder and that made things ten times easier without them slipping off

I was very happy with the quality of this cosplay, especially for the cost. All of the pieces look like real linen, and feel very comfortable. Put together it looks great, although I definitely recommend purchasing a brown shirt to go under it or putting in some little placed fabric tape or safety pins to keep it secure. My only caution would be watch the sizing. I would suggest if it's within your budget to order two different sizes and then send back the one that's not needed. I measured myself and read the chart carefully, but I ordered a 3X first and when it came everything was entirely, swimmingly too big, so I tried to go down to an XL, which ended me up with everything too small. ... show more
