  • This is amazing for the price. No issues almost 1 year into using it.
I have almost no complaints. It can be a bit strange to get use to the remote but I use this to take rotating videos of products and some 3d scanning. Very smooth rotation compared to other cheaper ones I've had. I like the stepper function also. Seems fairly strong but I don't put anything very heavy on it. I've also never used it for extended periods just for photo and video shoots maybe 30 mins or less but dozens of those over a year's period. ... show more

  • Great rotating stand with maximum flexibility.
This rotating stand has multiple functions including changing direction, speed, as well as several other options. I needed it as I have a large watch collection that I currently keep in watch boxes that hold 24 watches each. Since I have so many watches, the combined weight of the watches and watch boxes is around 50 pounds. This model can hold 110 pounds. I plan to transfer the watches to a watch display case that holds 60 watches. Since the display case rotates manually, I will need to put the display case with the watches on top of the rotating stand. It is very quiet and comes with a remote control. It keeps all my watches wound except for my skeleton watches which probably need a true watch display box that rotates to simulate the watch being wound. Overall, I'm glad that I spent the extra money for the better quality rotating stand. This design will keep my watches wound and when I receive the manual rotating display case, I should be able to display my favorite automatic watches and keep them wound. The design of the rotating display stand prevents the cord from becoming twisted around the rotating display stand and should do the same when I receive the display case tomorrow. I felt that it doesn't make sense to have a watch collection unless it can be displayed and wound at the same time. I researched rotating stands and this one had the largest platform and most flexibility. Since my collection is over 100 watches, I purchased two rotating stands which seems to be doing an excellent job of keeping the non-skeleton watches wound and keeping accurate time. ... show more

  • Nice Turntable, Crappy Remote
The turntable itself is nice and has lots of great features. Can't ask for much more! I bought it to use for product video and also to dabble in photogrammetry. The intermittent feature will work well for photogrammetry, where it turns the specified amount then pauses before turning again. Just need to sync my cameras intervalometer to match. The remote control however, as others have stated, is very cheaply made. It has a feel similar to what you'd expect form the dollar store, no kidding! Others have stated that it seems to work intermittently, and this is true. I figured out what the problem is though, and it's an easy fix. The contacts in the battery compartment for the + terminal are recessed and made of the same spring material that the negative contacts are. But they are too far recessed! Some batteries, depending on how the tip at the head is made, may not make solid contact. The remedy is to make a wad up a tiny piece of aluminum foil and stuff it in there to help make a positive contact. After that, the remote works fine and responds quickly. A re-design of the remote would have me giving it a few more stars. ... show more

  • Electric Rotating Turntable
The media could not be loaded. It’s a bit noisy. You don’t want to record yourself talking while it’s running. The product feels sturdy and holds what I need. The price was a bit much for the mechanics, but I’m guessing the remote control is why it cost more than expected. If it lasts six or seven years, I’d say the cost is worth the product, but who really makes products to last, anymore? If you need a sturdy remote controlled turntable, this just may work. The package held a 8.5x11 book that weighed close to 3 pounds. I’d buy it again. ... show more

  • BF loves it for displaying action figures.
Great product. Cost is very reasonable. It's not noise at all. Even when my bf has his giant size Galactus spinning around on it all night. Comes with remote that's super easy to use. The size is perfect for anything you need it for whether big or small. Display speed is perfect.

  • Great Turntable
This is a good product. Tested at weights up to 53 lbs and it handled just fine. Motor is a little on the loud side. Only downfall to me is the fact that there are no controls on the unit itself, just the remote.

  • In intermittent rotation mode, the remote control times out after a few minutes! But I found a fix.
The media could not be loaded. I used BN-LINK ES1513-5-2 Wireless Remote Control Outlet to rescue my purchase of the ComXim Professional 360 Degree Black Rotating Turntable for Product Photography, 88LB Capacity, 12.6in Diameter,Automatic Remote Control. I purchased the turntable to use to rotate our 42 inch flat-screen TV, and it worked great for that purpose, EXCEPT! that the remote control function times out after a few minutes. The only way to restore remote control operation was to walk over to the TV, and manually switch the turntable off, then back on again. completely defeating the purpose. We were no better off than when we would pull the whole TV base into position on its super sliders. The BN-LINK switch module solved this problem, because now I can switch the turntable off, then back on again, without getting off the couch. NOTE: As soon as the turntable turns on again, it defaults to continuous rotation mode, which would eventually wrap all the cables around the TV pedestal and the turntable, so when I switch the BN-LINK back on, I have the turntable remote in my other hand, with my thumb ready on the STOP(!) button. Fortunately, the BN-LINK switch module remains in the off position after it loses input AC, so there is no worry about the turntable turning itself on after a momentary power loss. The turntable easily supports the weight of the TV, and operation is quiet, stable and reliable. We pre-tested the turntable by rotating our grandchildren on it. ... show more

  • Its great for Photogrammetry
I found this really great to use for photogrammetry. The remote has angle settings so that you can just press play and every time you do it will rotate by that angle and stop. It goes down to 32 turns per cycle. It seems fairly precise, I haven't had a chance yet to test it on heavier objects, I've only tested it out on a boot. ... show more
