Got this for my long-torso'd, average to tall, almost four year-old and it fits him very well: not too wide and hip-length. The sleeves seem a tiny bit long. Nice waterproof shell. Upper half is fleece-lined, so it's a good spring jacket that's a little warmer than a windbreaker and lighter than a fully lined raincoat. My little guy loves the bright blue color and the hood.

*It is not as Fushia in person as it is in my pictures* This jacket is beautiful. Whilst browsing for fall / winter gear for my little girl I stumbled on this and fell in love with it. She's very girlie and loves pink and purple. I like dark colors because for every girlie thing about her there is a part that loves to paint her body with mud like she is going to war. This is a fantastic weight for spring and fall jacket, water resistant and fleece lined so it's definitely enough to keep the chill away, but not so much for them to get hot. We use jackets like on colder days too with more fleece layered beneath. My daughter is hard to pick out clothes for. She'll be 3 in March '19. She's always been very small for her age but she's also kind of awkward shaped. She has a longer torso and a big belly, so she sizes up tops before bottoms. She's somewhere in the range of 26lbs and 33/34". Some 2Ts fit her very small, while some 3Ts ru huge. I'd say this runs exactly how it should, with the exception of the hood being a bit too short. Unfortunately, I've ordered things from Columbia in the past that have run big, so I chose 2 instead of 3. So while this jacket fits, she will only get one season out of it.

This seems to be a great rain jacket for spring and like the orange-red color. The fleece lining is very thin but makes the inside feel comfortable. There is enough room for my slim 10 year old boy to put a sweater underneath. It is packable too, because it takes very little volume when folded. Too be tested in the elements soon. There is a tag on it that says "waterproof", which makes me optimistic. The care instruction are: machine wash cold, no dryer. (I guess, the heat could damage this type of waterproof material). The company recommended price is $50 (it usually higher than what items get sold for). I bought it for about half of that on Amazon. So far, so happy.

The coat is perfect for fall rain because of the added layer of warmth inside. I bought this in an extra small for my 4.5 year old who wears a size 5 shirt and it was a little too big. I kept it so he can grow into it, I just rolled the sleeves for now.

We ordered this for my 8 year old son in size M (10-12) and it fits him well. He will probably get 2 years out of it, which is what we wanted. We initially purchased a Columbia rain jacket from a sports store but it had no lining and was very thin and more like windbreaker. It also seemed to be shorter, more like a jacket than a coat. For $5 more than what we paid for the original one, we got this one which is definitely more substantial. It covers all the torso and part of the legs as well. The only downside is that the fleece lining is only on part of the inside of the jacket and not the sleeves. This would probably be good for 50 degree + day. We ordered the red which is more like a bright bittersweet (orangy red). Nevertheless, we like the color and is definitely bold and bright, which my son likes.

Great quality and item is as expected. Color is true to picture. Runs just a tad bigger/longer than expected. Sizing is not a problem at all though - just some room to grow into it for the next season.

This jacket was too big for my son, but that was my ordering . It is such good quality and nice looking I may just keep it for him to grow into for $30! Would buy the correct size of they had it.
