I bought these for my dorm room and then we’re ok, my closet ended up being big enough for all of my clothes and I don’t really use them so they’re just there. They work good though and do help to save space! Good for dorms or small closet space!

These closet organizers turned a stuffed closet into something manageable. The product description states that the organizers will save 80% of your closet space. This is not entirely true. It is closer to 40 to 50%. However, that is acceptable considering the value and quality of the organizers. The organizers quickly hook on your closet bar, allowing you to place your garments on it without the organizer falling off the bar. One hook was released to hang the five garments on the organizer. It didn’t require much effort, even with heavier shirts on the organizer. The closet bar did not sag due to the organizer’s heavier weight in a smaller part of the bar. Remember that this would not work for longer garments as they would droop on the floor. These closet organizers do the job well. The garments did not wrinkle or bunch. So I got these to hang my black work shirts in a group and try to save some space in the closet. Yes, they do work the way they are supposed to. I think, ideally, these work best when you can actually raise them up horizontally to match the closet rod, for viewing, removal and additions. I don’t really have that option due to space, but I did try it out & I wasn’t very proficient at it. Hangers fell off to the ground. Placing hangers while they are vertical is doable, but not seamless, because you are putting them between vertical fabric layers, it’s a little stuffy. All in all, I need them and I like what they do for the space in my closet wasted on work clothing. Metal topped hangers are your best bet for these, I use the felt hangers. They fit well in the notches. An inexpensive fix for a temporary problem… Someday I will have my own closet, hopefully bigger than the moving box size space I currently share with another full size human. These certainly have extended what space I have, so I do recommend. I suggest you just put the infrequently worn clothing that u let live in your closet rent free on these to free up space for the movers and shakers! ... show more

They organize as advertised. You don't need to put it back up to take the clothes off. But I do recommend that you organize by what you'll wear first. I used it to organize my blazers and I put it so the one I reach for first is on the bottom so I can easily pull in order that I'll wear them. They're a little bulky, but I take it it's so it can handle heavy weights. I also used one for only coats and had no issues. ... show more

I recently moved into a smaller place and needed to find a way to organize and space save my belongings more. And I ordered these hangers because I ordered a similar product specifically for pants and they worked great. This product works great and gives you a lot of versatility by having two fixed positions: one for easy hanging and the other to make efficient use of space. In a hanging area with lots of vertical room, these definitely will save a lot of space. The hanger hook rotates, so it's a little floppy when trying to hang the unit on a high bar, such I as I have. A few "swing and a miss" tries were needed to get it to hook onto the bar. Other than that, these are pretty solid plastic and appear that they'll hold up to their intended use - supporting multiple hangers.
