Arrived quickly. As expected, it had a slight chemical smell for the first day or two. Took about a day to reach its full size. Pretty darn comfortable. Didnt take long for my dog to monopolize. May have to get another.

This is without question by far the worst product I have ever purchased on Amazon and I have purchased a lot through Amazon. The solid brick that got delivered would not expand after days following exact instructions. Instead of giving up, I followed other recommendations to open the zipper pouch and cut a plastic liner. Surprise. No liner. Just a solid block of insanely compressed foam pieces. I broke the block apart with great difficulty and created a huge mess even trying to keep it all in the zipper pouch. After 4 more days waiting for the block I broke into hundreds of hard Little pieces to expand into soft foam it’s still a shriveled lump of hundred of hard block pieces. Total garbage. I’ll try to return it but I don’t see how that’s possible given it’s size and weight. Likely a waste of $150. I suspect the positive reviews are bogus, save your money ... show more

My boyfriend bought this for himself as an early father's day gift. We let it fluff out and set for a few days, it looks nice but after sitting in it for a while he felt something poking him. We opened the filling and found several pieces of plastic. Has not measured up to the amount of money we paid for it and research we did beforehand. Very disappointed. ... show more

Honestly this is an example of me getting what I paid for. This is a sad excuse for what it claims to be. It is NOT memory foam inside this package. It is instead scrap trash foam, that includes pieces of additional scrap trash from whatever was destroyed and placed inside it. The pieces range in size from less than a dime to over 6 inches in diameter. I highly recommend avoiding this product. I managed to save the shell of this product, by purchasing additional high quality gel infused memory foam to insert inside the shell. Which BTW the zipper on the inner lining came broken upon arrival. I also do not even believe I was sent the size promised as I ordered the 5' bag but it is the same size as a 4' bag I had purchased from another company. Which was also highly disappointing as I wanted a bigger bag to replace what I had in that room already. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I will update as time goes on. Initial reaction is that it is heavy and fairly sturdy. Comes in very compacted. Shipping was fast! Cover seems thick and sturdy. Inner lining is a stretchy polyester blend that made breaking up the foam through the fabric easy. Sat my 300 lb self on it this morning after 12 hours and it was not too bad. No floor touching but I can't wait to see the full, 100% 4 day fluff. Will update more later. 1 week: We did get another 5 lb of foam to give it a firmer feel (note I'm Rubenesque, the hubby and child didn't have any issues lol) WE LOVE IT! Most popular seat in the house! Perfect for "nesting" for hours in front of the fire and TV while it snows. Now to replace all furniture with these :) ... show more

When I first got the chair, I did as other reviewers had suggested, and painstakingly pulled apart the foam. I did this with the bag zipped as it would make a horrid mess if I hadn't. The chair then rose steadily and by the next morning "appeared " very full. Unfortunately every time I sat in it, I sank right to the floor and it was not comfortable at ALL. I am not exactly a large person either. I waited a full week to see if it would rise anymore...it did not. So again, I did as other reviewers suggested and ordered another 10 lbs of foam. I had seen some people who stated that they contacted the manufacturer and were sent more foam for free. However, I could NOT find a way to contact them. I searched for hours. It is not on the site at all or in any of the papers that arrived with the chair. So I decided to purchase it, otherwise the chair would not have worked for me at all. Some people have stated that their zipper is broken and they can't open the bag to add more foam...the zipper intentionally does not come with the hook so that it can't be accidentally unzipped. Trust me you don't want that crap all over your floor. It came with an extra one in the box that I attached to it. It DOES open. Unzip the top one all the way and there is another zipper underneath that opens from the opposite end. (So the bottom zipper opens from the ending point of the top one) Anyway, the 10 lbs of foam made a HUGE difference and it is now extremely comfortable. I deducted 1 star because I should not have had to spend another 50 bucks to finish filling the chair. I may even add another 5 lbs of foam to it to give it just a bit more support. My 8yr old son has declared that he is spending the rest of his life on this chair and I think he's serious because he has barely gotten off of it since I got it. Lol. The 5ft chair can comfortably fit myself, my 8yr old and my yorkie dog with some room to spare. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase. I just wish it would have come with enough foam to fill it. I would reccomend the chair...but order more foam. You will need it! ... show more

Just like everybody else you can make it look like the picture but don't sit on it because you go straight to the floor. Be prepared to add another $60 worth of memory foam chunks which more than likely being advertised on this page that you're looking at for this item because everybody buys it with this item cuz you're going to need it. Would be nice if the manufacturer would see our complaints and fix this so that others don't have to feel the heartache realizing that you really do need more foam. ... show more
