    • Brother printers are becoming awful pieces of c**p
The school I work for bought one of these for a staff member. After less than two years it developed a PRINTER UNABLE 02 error message which basically means a mechanical fault and it needed to be repaired. We decided to just buy a new printer. I have no idea how many prints were made on this printer by one person in less than two years but the cartridges were still the first full cartridges installed in the printer. (The ones that come with the printer can hardly be called full.) This is not the only Brother printer the school has that developed a fault (a different model) within the same two years. Printers are supposed to last years. Brother printers MAY last more than one or two. IF you're lucky. I wouldn't touch Brother printers again. They are fast becoming crap. ... show more
