I walked miles in these sneakers for four days straight in Las Vegas!! I have back and knee pain and these are the best sneakers I've ever worn. We were going to Las Vegas and I knew we would be walking everywhere . . . which we did. One day I clocked 20k steps! Usually my back starts aching but not with these! I must've tried on about eight different pairs of sneakers until I put these on and the comfort level was through the roof. Additionally, they look great! This Brooks shoe has attracted several admirers, and why not! It’s a beautiful shoe to look at, has great support, and a roomer toe box. I wore these shoes for eight hours for work, and, for another hour and a half at the gym. Really couldn’t ask for a more perfect shoe!

    • Expensive but worth it

I have plantar faciitis and have struggled with it on and off for a few years. My podiatrist had given me a list of shoes that were best for this condition and brooks was one of them. My physical therapist suggested brooks over the others but they were, in my opinion, outrageously priced so I started to wear Asics instead. While Asics is good and I could definitely feel more support with them on versus the adidas and sketchers that I had been previously wearing, I still continued to have the fasciitis heel/foot pain on & off depending on how much walking I did or how long I was on my feet. I'm also in the medical field so being on your feet all day is part of the job. I have done the stretches, ice, rest, orthotic inserts, etc but nothing helps to keep the pain away.... it is also interfering with my daily life, I have a hard time just vacuuming and cleaning my house because I can't be on my feet too long without needing to sit down. I saw these brooks had been marked down and "on sale" during Christmas so I figured, I'd just suck it up and buy them. Well, after literally one day, my feet are not hurting. I was at work, and it just hit me.. "hey, my feet aren't killing me as I'm walking back & forth" and they continue not to hurt even after I take the sneakers off! I am so glad I bought them and have since ordered 2 more pairs. I bought my regular size of 8 Medium width (I don't have a wide foot) and they fit fine. They do give/stretch a little after wearing so I think if I sized up to the recommended size of 8.5 they would have ended up being too big (amazon suggested 8.5 & some reviews say to size up). They are easier to get on than the stealthfit pairs I also own. I'm sorry I didn't purchase them sooner.. (hopefully I am not jinxing myself lol). ... show more

    • Extremely comfortable to walk in for hours!

No dislikes. Good looking shoe. Bought this brand for years when I was nursing. You can wear them for 12 hour shifts and your feet will still feel fine!!! I am retired now but my shoes aren’t. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

    • The tongue is too narrow

I love Brooks shoes and they are comfortable but these have a narrow tongue that constantly slides to the side. I have to stop walking to straighten it back up because it is not comfortable when it slides crooked like that! I also hate the strings on these they are skinny and some type of nylon I think. I walk no less than 5 miles per day every day of the year so I do a lot of walking. I love these Brooks Women's Glycerin 20 Neutral Running Shoe - Black/Blue Light/Pink - 9 Medium except for that. I like the tongue and the strings ( these strings are cloth) on the Brooks Women's Ariel '20 Running Shoe much better. ... show more

If you are looking for a pair of shoes because you have plantar fasciitis then this is the shoes for you. I bought these for my daughter and she was extremely happy and extremely comfortable. these shoes are a bit pricey, but worth every penny.

I LOVE these shoes! I do a lot of workouts in the gym and do a lot of zumba. I asked my zumba teacher what shoe she recommended and she said brooks. I have a bunion on my right toe and these shoes have really helped with the pain. I'm glad I listened to her! I got a 7.5 wide and it fits great!
